Father, we bring before You Your servant, our brother in Christ, President Bush, asking that You be with him, and help him to feel Your presence right now. Lord we are overwhelmed with thanksgiving for Your protection of him and Laura when they traveled to South America, especially as we have found out that there was a plot against him in Colombia. We know that there are so many evil people in the world that want him destroyed, and we know that it is only in Your grace and mercy, and according to Your perfect will that he is leading us. We plead with You, loving Father, to continue to place a shield of protection over him and his family, and give them peace in knowing that they are sheltered under Your wing.
Father, we also ask for wisdom and discernment for him as he makes hundreds of decisions of great import. We are thankful that he has asked for financing for abstinence programs for our youth, and we are thankful again for giving us a man of morality, who calls You Lord and Savior, as our President for these trying times.
We pray that President and Mrs. Bush would have a blessed weekend together with their family, and ask that they might be refreshed and renewed because of this time together.
We continue to bring before You as well, our troops who are serving in harm's way both in Afghanistan and in Iraq. Bless and protect them in these difficult and dangerous days when they are away from family and loved ones protecting us from harm. We thank You that this country has so many fine young men and women who voluntarily put their lives on the line for our safety and freedom, and we ask a special blessing for them during the coming Christmas season. Lord, there are many there who are followers of the risen Christ, and we ask that You might given them a boldness to share Your love with other soldiers and with the people whom they meet. Lord, give comfort to the families of those who have fallen, and wrap them in a blanket of Your love, and heal those who have been wounded.
Finally, Father, we lift our nation up to You today, asking forgiveness for our sins, especially for the holocaust of abortion. We pray that President Bush might be able to appoint judges for federal courts and for the Supreme Court, who honor the Constitution, and thus honor life, and will help stem the tide of the murder of this country's pre-born. Prod Your children to be in prayer daily for America, that we might be a nation that honors You in word and deed. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, God Incarnate, our Strength and our Redeemer, Amen!
Please join us in prayer tonight for our President, our troops and our nation!

Our son was in Iraq last year, and is home this year, and we are praising the Lord as never before!
Please thank your son for us for his service to this country, and for keeping us free and safe.
Lord, I ask that You help our people bring the terrorist Zarqawi to justice. He has placed himself at this time as the focal point of Islamic militarism, and in making his ultimate appeal to Islamic clerics he would explicitly turn this war into a religous confrontation. It therefore is imperative that the world be shown that he does not have Your favor. May righteousness prevail, and may You vindicate Your name.
This might not be bin Laden's time to be called to justice, OTOH. It might be best for the world to to see him continue to fall into impotence and irrelevance, and to let him see the fruit of his poisonous labors rot before his own eyes, before apprehending him, his cause totally lost.
Yet without exception, I would pray for the souls of all men. For what benefit is there in the demise of the lost? No matter their errors or ignorance, may they find repentance, even if they must answer for their deeds.
May all things be done according to Your glorious wisdom, dividing between mercy and judgment, and according to Your exquisite timing. Thank You for all Your blessings toward us, most especially the peace with God we have through Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord. Revive us, O Lord, that we would walk worthy of our calling, that souls and lives would be saved and restored.

thankyou for this time Your saints can gather in prayer and supplication.
Lord,we pray for all of Your saints and especially for george walker bush,his family and administration.
we pray they and all who gathered in fervancy before the election will be forever thankfull for the mercy You showed this nation on november 2nd.
we pray for all of the brave troops,may they soon finish the job of liberating a people and eliminating the face of evil which is terrorism.

Could there be a sweeter word in any language than that word
"forgiveness," when it sounds in a guilty sinner's ear, like the silver
notes of jubilee to the captive Israelite? Blessed, for ever blessed be
that dear star of pardon which shines into the condemned cell, and gives
the perishing a gleam of hope amid the midnight of despair! Can it be
possible that sin, such sin as mine, can be forgiven, forgiven altogether,
and for ever? Hell is my portion as a sinner-there is no possibility of my
escaping from it while sin remains upon me-can the load of guilt be
uplifted, the crimson stain removed? Can the adamantine stones of my
prison-house ever be loosed from their mortices, or the doors be lifted
from their hinges? Jesus tells me that I may yet be clear. For ever
blessed be the revelation of atoning love which not only tells me that
pardon is possible, but that it is secured to all who rest in Jesus. I
have believed in the appointed propitiation, even Jesus crucified, and
therefore my sins are at this moment, and for ever, forgiven by virtue of
his substitutionary pains and death. What joy is this! What bliss to be a

Lord God, we thank you for Your Son Jesus Christ, that He was willing to be a servant to all and to give His life so that we might know the incredible gift of eternal life in You! Hallelujah! Thank you Father, for our President. Please bless him always with the mind of Christ. May he be a humble and prayerful man at all times, always seeking Your will in everything. Bless him and his family with peace and abundant joy, and be his strong right arm of protection.
Please be with our troops this moment and always Lord, for courage and comfort and safety and victory.
Our nation needs healing Lord, the healing that only comes through You. I pray for a great revival in this land, where many millions would come to You in repentance and for salvation. I pray Lord, that abortion will become outlawed in this land, and that pornographers, thieves, murderers, fornicators and all who have perverted Your holy way will repent of their sin and come to You. I pray especially that You keep corruption and filth out of the high places of power in our government. In the holy name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen. Our God Reigns!!
