Yes. This type of aircraft has no place in the modern battlefield and Foreseeable conflicts. The money could be put into more usefull sistems (each unit cost about $235 million for 239 planes) Whats your opinion?
Your first name wouldn't be Medulla, would it?
Your assaults and insults are sooooooo sweet.
Interesting how my reality seems to threaten you somehow.
Now you are trying to be as funny as you are sweet.
Your street audience must feel very loved and understood.
Goodness! With such sweetness, you ought to be concerned about turning into cotton candy!
Given the distillation of what I've been told from so many sources the last 35 years,
I believe the general who said we are 50 years ahead of anything anyone else can field.
Shame isn't it.

You sound like a voice of wisdom.
First I've heard against what I thought was a well placed friend's overhaul of all military procurement procedures. His goal was reducing boondoggles and fraud. Maybe he ended up creating more problems than solutions. Surprising. He was super smart. Super connected.
Name was Musial. Still alive in retirement, as I recall.
I don't mind Occam's razor. I just see most people touting him as seemingly so clumsy and inappropriate in construing how to use him as to end up bloody pulps themselves--with not a clue to their state.
Didn't you leave out supplement the C-17 in the strategic airlift role, and the KC-10 in the refueling role?
I believe they are thinking of renaming it the F/U/C/K/A/B-22...
Yes, he could be that.
But I think the language clue is a very weak one. Possible, but weak. Especially to build so much intense and arrogant hostility on.
imho.
I must have missed the news of the Peoples Republic of China disbanding!
As I understand it,
the alien related technologIES
are just a fraction of the lot.
Perhaps they are the bigger fraction. I don't know.
In desicions such as this, i put a lot of faith in the opinions of the pilots who fly the state-of-the-art machines. It would appear that they think the F-22 is a worthy part of our defense system.
With the multitude of systems at hand, the F-22 is, IMHO, a step in the right direction, and a valuable addition to our arsenal.

Unless I've mixed up my planes, some folks insist that such late model planes have dual propulsion systems--conventional AND antigrav.
That would make a difference to me about deployment!
You are getting funnier and funnier!
I apologize if you feel assaulted and insulted but I don't know how you can post such bizarre stuff and then be so touchy about it. It would seem to me that you would have developed some thick skin. Besides, laughter is good medicine.
I should not have come across as if I were personally attacking you though. Forgive me for that. I will try to refrain from doing that in the future.
In reality, your worldview probably merits more in the way of prayer, than that of laughter and I will pray for you Quix.
Isa 8:11-13
11 The LORD spoke to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people. He said:
12 "Do not call conspiracy
everything that these people call conspiracy;
do not fear what they fear,
and do not dread it.
13 The LORD Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy,
he is the one you are to fear,
he is the one you are to dread,
(from New International Version)
NO argument there!
My confidence in the veracity of your postings
is
NOT
high, at all.
