Ever read an interview with that guy? Inane prattle.

We've had a sax player; I think it's time for a guitar player in the White House. Certainly high on my list of priorities.
To: Jose Roberto
I saw the opportunity to have somebody in the White House with a heart that would honestly ask the hard questions, that would respect our most struggling citizens, and a spirit that would seek the solutions to bring us closer to fulfilling America's promise for everybody
Is Bruce that blind??

No more "Glory Days" for Springsteen so he got into his "Pink Cadillac" and was last seen driving on "Highway 61" to an unknown "Rendezvous."

I'm sick of musicians voicing their political opinions during paid performances. I'm going to get a job as a waiter in Hollywood and give my political opinion when I wait on tables.

The boss has been fired. He does sound like an idiot though, doesn't he. He lives about 5 miles from me and I haven't made the pilgrimage to his mansion. Let him open his home to the homeless and maybe I'll give his hollow words a little more attention.

"I believe our American government has drifted too far from American values:"Yeah, bringing our values back is what the Republicans and GW are trying to do after the DUM-o-cRATS have just about given all of our American values over to the ACLU creeps and to the secularists!!!

Economic justice = buzzword for socialism/communism. These people are enamoured with economic policies that are proven failures.

The human principles of economic justice, last time I checked, this ( economic justice ) was a code word for socialism/communism
also, I just cannot watch Bruce perform on TV.......his concerts......it is too painful to watch, 'cause when he gets to singin', his facial expressions are, well, it looks like he is trying to pass a pine cone.........much too painful to watch
anyone who has had kidney stones understands this one

This from a guy reportedly worth over $300 Million.
I figured out that if all of sKerry's Hollywood backers followed his line of reasoning and brought their levels of net worth in line with the national average by giving the difference to charities, churches or even back to the Fed, they could solve any unemployment, homeless or health care issues without our help.
Bruce could really show his love for his fellow middle-Americans by starting the process.

Before 9/11 Springsteen was a has-been. He resurrected his dead career by doing a national benefit for the victims of that attack. Of course we later found out most of the money raised never really made it to the intended beneficiaries but no matter, Springsteen had successfully parked his face back into public arena. He quickly cranked out a CD with more the same tired crap he'd been producing before his career went south but this time it was hailed as monumental which of course it wasn't. To this day he continues to whip out the same redundant drivil. No matter. He will quickly fade back into the oblivion he so richly deserves to be in with the rest of the overrated, undertalented folks that the mainstream media has deemed as "voices of our time". There is after all a reason why he was a has-been in the first place.
While it's true Springsteen produced some very good songs, his talent never really reached the level of his hype. While the moniker of "the Boss" was cute it was never really explained what he was the Boss of. Certainly not consistent, great music particularly since the guy only knows a handful of chords and a few guitar licks that never distinguish themselves from what he's already done years before. There is after all only so much one can do with a basic "Flight of the Bumblebee" lead riff. And Springsteen has pretty much exhausted every option.
Move over, Bruce and let somebody with real, new talent have a chance. You're taking up valuable space.
BTW, while I'm not accusing him for having anything to do with the apparent embezzlement that took place with the 9/11 fundraiser he did little to find out where the money went. And how could he? He was too busy rebuilding a career that was incapable of doing little more than adding to a "same ol' sh!t" body of work.
In short Bruce Springsteen proved that just because it sells doesn't mean it's good. And his ol' lady's stuff is even worse.

Paul Wellstone, the Minnesota senator, said, "The future is for the passionate and those that are willing to fight and work hard for it."George W Bush and his supporters were more passionate and worked harder than the Kerry gang. End of story.
