Here is a link to great video of Bush rescuing his Secret Service Agent in Chile. You can actually see how the Chilean guards moved in to block the American Secret Service guys.

An arrogant and unilateral display of American power.

How can one not love this guy? He's so refreshingly real. Thanks for the link - I'd been wanting to see this moment.

This should put Chile to shame. That or Chile is next on our list.

Would someone describe the tape, please? My connection is too slow.

Seriously, don't these secret service guys work as a team?

How did one get left behind like that?

I actually cringe at the sight of my president going back into that mob..although I'm certainly proud of him.

AWESOME! Thanks for posting! Thinking about what Kerry would have done. Maybe send TUHRAYZA out to verbally abuse them?

Finally got it loaded. Wow, I too cringe at the thought of him being in that mob. Who knows if it was a planned assassination or what? I'm sure it wasn't the SS guy's fault, but his job is to be with Bush at all cost and never to be lured into that sort of situation. Bet he's already been reassigned.

GW didn't hesitate, he walked very quickly and did a "snatch and grab" on his agent.

A very manly move by GW was performed.

The secret service agent was our President's 'body man'.

The man designated to protect our president's person.

Nah...don't you know he's 'stupid'. Right, so stupid he has enough self-possession to maintain a clear perspective on the actual situation he finds himself in and takes his own security into his own hands. HELLO..!!

OF..do you know how they work?

If there were 4 of them it would seem to me that 2 would clear the front and 2 would protect the rear. It would also seem that they wouldn't allow a single agent to get cut off like that.

But then again, I don't know anything about their strategy.

partial:

When the President was going back to get his agent, the press person says, "He's going back now to shake someone elses hand...no, wait, there's an incident."
