The Quote of the Day Published on 11/23/2004
"I always take time to worship God in as evangelical a way as is feasible, given time and location constraints. As you know, I consider myself an evangelical Christian, really a Christian conservative, if you want to know the truth, so it's nice to be 'home' again in the South, which I really consider my quote- unquote home even though I live in New York most of the time. Well, Washington, D.C., most of the time, actually, but if I'm not there I'm in New York, of course, but always thinking about being here, in the South, my spiritual home, where I shared so many wonderful evangelical . . . moments and . . . events."
Being that she frauded herself into a senate position in NY, and I live here, it's especially horrible since it is believable.
Bummer in the summer. I thought we had a golden one to drop on Her Royal Heinous's head. Oh well...thanks for the update!
AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
hehehhee
i'd like to find her quote from about 10 years ago, after the health care thing flopped, to the effect:
"i don't give a damn about entreprenuers".
I about dropped my jaw.
Considering she said she'd take things away from us for the common good, among other weirder quotes and behaviors, it was completely believable!
And to find out that it was satire was a relief.
However, I'm still going to wait on her to make some similar statement in the future.
As I have said before in other threads, effective satire must be distinguishable from reality in a key way.
Given Hillary Clinton's behavior, there is no satire evident here. This could easily be truth.
An example would be General Patton telling his troops to grease the treads of their tanks with the enemy's guts. Now, if you saw that, and didn't know better, you would immediately think satire in the vein of General Jack Ripper in "Dr. Strangelove".
In reality, Patton did say that. So how on earth could it be a satrire on Patton?
Likewise, given Hillary's "known" penchant and love for the Yankees and how she claims to be a New Yorker, how could anyone do a satire on her in that light?
I'm liking that!
satirical, smearical this sounded to clintonesque to be mischievious fakery...maybe it was a clinton trial baloon disguised as satire...you know... like the unforgetable..... 'i did not have sax[or was it sex] with that woman'.....don't spoil our fun...bc boy
There is no way this is a valid Hillary Clinton quote as there is not a single "you know" in the entire statement.
Freeper reacts to news that Hillaroid is back in the South.
I fell for it completely on the first thread..It is so HILLARY!
If she DARES to say she isn't going to be a candidate for President in 2008 we will KNOW what a freaking liar she is. That is the entire purpose of this lie. She despises Evangelical Christians and conservatives and the South! (of course,we know she is a liar anyway)
What's funny is that we all believed it was a quote because it rang so true of how she operates.

This is satire..but we believed it because it sounds like something she would say.
Okay admit it. You all had to look up canckle.
In the same vein, Patton when asked to confirm his response to the following: 'If caught between the Russians and the Germans, did you say you would attack in both directions?'
"No, I did not." responded the General, "But I wish I did."
Similarly, Hillary could say the same thing regarding the subject of this thread.
What's funny is the fact that they think there is nothing wrong with what she said and that she can say it with a straight face. The liberals will never learn which is good,I'm enjoying watching them lose.
This just reeks with insincerity.
