The Quote of the Day Published on 11/23/2004
"I always take time to worship God in as evangelical a way as is feasible, given time and location constraints. As you know, I consider myself an evangelical Christian, really a Christian conservative, if you want to know the truth, so it's nice to be 'home' again in the South, which I really consider my quote- unquote home even though I live in New York most of the time. Well, Washington, D.C., most of the time, actually, but if I'm not there I'm in New York, of course, but always thinking about being here, in the South, my spiritual home, where I shared so many wonderful evangelical . . . moments and . . . events."
"in as evangelical a way as is feasible,"
"As you know, I consider myself an evangelical Christian, really a Christian conservative"
Her statements prove she was toldf 'biuzzwords' to use, and she used them in what she thought was the proper manner.
And there is NO way she's a 'Christian Conservative", especially considering her previous comments about taking things away from us for the common good.
Drats.
Considering her previous behavior, I wouldn't doubt she'd say it!
Part of what makes this such a great satire, is that so many (more so in the other threads), do not recognize it as such.
Here's the zommed in version.
Note the sign in back.
she can't remember the correct lines in the latest clinton twilight zone episode....maybe liberal dementia[like franken and odonnnel] has taken over in that powerful brain of hers...maybe she'll ask pat robertson to campaign with her for the next for years...four years..thats a barf alert for me...bc boy
As you know, I consider myself an evangelical Christian, yeah, yeah a really, really really Christian conservative, if you want to know the truth, yeah, so it's nice to be 'home' again, here, in the South that is, which I really, really really, consider my quote- unquote home even though I live in New York, most of the time that is.
Well, really, Washington, D.C., most of the time, actually, but if I'm not there I'm in New York, DUH, but of course, I'm, I'm always thinking about, you know, being here, you know, down here, in the South, you know, my spiritual home is, down here, in the south where I shared so many wonderful really really evangelical . . . moments and, and . . . events.
Yeah that's the ticket!!!"
Oh! She is 'from' the South.
Oh, she is a Christian conservative.
Yeah right...
Hitlery, will say anything thinking we are stupid enough to listen.
Translation:
If I'm within view of one of them silly old fashion churches by sheer accident, please snap away if you're a cameraman.
I believed it totally when I first read the quote..but it was missing the context...It is a fun bit of satire..
Her spiritual home? Hillary Rodham hated living in Arkansas, it was nothing more than a stepping stone.
Many a true word spoken in jest............spokeshave
