Additionally, he said their spirits are high, but they would certainly appreciate any "care packages" that folks in the States would care to send their way (preferably consisting of non-perishable food items, candy, deodorant, eye-drops, q-tips, toothpaste, toothbrushes, lip balm, hand/feet warmers, black/dark undershirts, underwear & socks, and non-aerosol bug spray)

These articles never gove the address. I would send but ...

Wow - and to think the "old media" missed reporting on the blankets and the feelings of the Iraq people in that town - even Fox. Fox is just as bad as the rest of them - never taking a chance to break out of the pack - and pick up even more viewers - What is the station holding back for? Don't they realize they will go the way of all the others - out with the trash -

The new sources strike again and give us a - Great report on what is really happening - Cheers to them -

I'm cautious. Arabs can be very two-faced, and phoney.

This may be just playing both sides of the fence.IMO

Hope its genuine,we need a break.

Christmas cards and letters for our Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan

We've sent 178 Power Bars and Marathon Snickers to Stryker Infantry which has been in the area and may be at Mosul now.

And we are doing a Christmas mailing in 2 days of pouches of dried California fruit (peaches, apricots, mixed fruit, figs, and fruit bits) and other goodies.

Anyone who wants to help out or just send a Christmas card or letter to a soldier in harm's way, drop by this thread and check us out.
