is christianity the true religion? (Fear of Zot is the beginning of wisdom)

Yeah I saw an article where you talked about deporting muslims just because their different and because of what only 19 people did who just so happened to follow their faith. I then came across an article here www.samgipp.org that said that Christians should force non Christians to become Christians.

Who do you think you are? Should we deport all Christians for what timothy Mcveigh and Adolph Hitler did? They were Christians, the proof is overwhelming!

So if your so much better than Muslims are and if Christianity is the true religion, could you please show me where in the Bible democracy woman's rights ETC are promoted?

Where is womans voting rights? what book chapter or verse?

where is religious freedom and pluralism in the Bible? The first commandment says thou shalt have no other gods? otherwise where is it?

where is it that says that Christiains shouldn't fine or jail people who deny Christ or the bible or who write books questioning the faith? I heard RJ Rushdoony say you should, otherwise what book chapter and verse?

The Muslim religion teaches that there is no compulsion in religion. You shall have yours I shall have mine. I don;t see any bible book dedicated to religious freedom like Islam. Otherwise enlighten me and show me! If your religion is not against racism and intolerance it is for it.

I thought once about testing my cat's hearing by walking outside, getting in the car, driving to Pittsburgh, getting out at a gas station, then whispering the word "Vet" into my hand. By the time I get home, the cat will have disappeared and I'll have several nice new piles of cat waste on my carpet.

Oh dear.

Oh dear, dear me.

Without dipping too deeply into this pool, let me at least illuminate you on one item you seem perplexed by.

America is NOT a theocracy- therefore we need not look to the Bible for instruction on how to set up a government.

However, the founders of our republic wisely used principles from the Bible in designing our government. These principles -when followed and practiced- seem to work out pretty well for the average citizen. They are not religious.

One quality you'll notice about democratic countries- they are not static. This enables the governed to learn from mistakes and correct them through making new laws- or getting rid of old/bad ones. This is the process we used when abolishing slavery and granting women the right to vote. Sometimes, when making these changes, there's a lot of hollering - but the process goes on regardless.

To learn more about this revolutionary concept, go to your local library and check out a 7-8th grade textbook on American History.

Yeah I saw an article where you talked about deporting muslims just because their
Uhh, that would be "they're" - a contraction of "they are".

different and because of what only 19 people did
Does the name Khobar mean anything to you?
Does the name USS Cole mean anything to you?
Does Minich 1972 mean anything to you?
Does the name Leon Klinghoffer mean anything to you?
There's more than just 19, putz.

who just so happened to follow their faith.
Oh, so you ADMIT that they followed their faith to hijack planes and kill people? If that isn't an indictment of their faith, then what is?

I then came across an article here www.samgipp.org
No such domain - that name is for sale, though.

that said that Christians should force non Christians to become Christians.
I call B.S.

Who do you think you are?
Just an average American Joe, fighting for his homeland.

Should we deport all Christians for what timothy Mcveigh and Adolph Hitler did?
Adolph was never an American citizen.
It's not in the Christian religion that everybody else should be killed. Not so, in Islam.

Glad you liked it! Description of the video from the source:

A power arc to ground on the Low Voltage side of this substation creates an arcing fault that behaves like an uncontrollable welding torch from Hell, chewing up everything in its path. Protection hardware either fails to open the High Voltage side or is unable to sense the presence of the fault. Excessive current eventually causes the windings on the substation's power transformer to overheat, severely cooking its innards and causing the mineral oil inside to begin violently boiling. In a vain attempt to prevent the transformer's tank from exploding, pressure release valves vent clouds of superheated oil vapor which subsequently ignites and explodes in a ball of flame. The forceful explosion of an expulsion fuse finally kills substation power with blue-white flash and a resounding BANG.

However, by this time, the weakened transformer's tank fails, and it spills hundreds of gallons of flaming oil onto the already devastated substation. Local firefighters can only watch from a distance since there's no way to safely fight this fire, and the substations is a total loss. As one fireman quipped, "Firemen don't mess with their wires, and linemen don't mess with their fires". A very sobering look at the raw power silently lurking within a medium sized substation.

You seem to have badly misunderstood Christianity.

Not all Christians use the bible as the sole means of discerning truth. But even if they did, your questions about women's rights, democracy, etc. aren't relevant. The bible provides general solutions framed by a belief in God and Christ; human beings use this knowledge to create specific solutions. Your question is like saying, "If Newton was really right about classical physics, than why do planes still crash?"

Resentment against Islam has more to do with the fact every terrorist act so far has included a specific thanksgiving to Allah coupled with the fact that acknowledged religious leaders in Islam issue fatwas calling for the deaths of both peoples and individuals.

Jim Jones operated on his own, he was not connected to another church body. Timothy McVeigh may have been Christian but he didn't characterize his act as a religious act. There is no official Christian institution calling for the deaths of people or individuals in the U.S. today. Nor has there been for well over 100 years or more.

You need to study more.

Some clarifications.

Christianity is not a religeon, it is a relationship, with the Christ.

Christianity is a function of volition. That means making decisions or more simply put, choosing. For or against Christ, learning (or not) the word, and applying it to your life.

There are good tolerant people and intolerant people who are Christians. Remember I said this thing is about volition.

Finally, in Christianity, there is one, and only one discriminator as to heaven or hell.....Believe on the Lord and thou shalt be saved. That's it, no other decision can send you to heaven or hell.

Those are MY answers. Do with them what you will.

Shalom,
Top sends

You can't obviously handle the answers.

The enemy of your soul, satan, owns you lock, stock and barrel.

Your cries for help, out of ignorance, fear and lunacy, are the precursor to your gnashing of teeth.

The Great Zot has judged you.

Who do you think you are? Should we deport all Christians for what timothy Mcveigh and Adolph Hitler did? They were Christians, the proof is overwhelming!

What is the overwhelming proof that either of those individuals was Christian? I know both had been baptized, but both had rejected Christianity. Hitler became a pagan. McVeigh appears to have become a follower of Mohammed the Pedophile.

I look at it this way - if you have to ask you probably haven't tried very hard to find out. When "Christianity For Dummies" comes out we'll call you.
