Come on Christians! Make your church aware of this! Let's mobilize and put an end to the abuses of religion by the ACLU! Let's put a stop to the abuse of the Boy Scouts of America! It's time to act! Enough is enough. Let's work toward getting BIG numbers out to support this effort!

The guy is planning a march of 1 million people at every ACLU office in the country?

It sounds like an impossible dream, but I'd like to help.

It's about time. I'm in too.

I became aware of the ACLU years ago. I remember reading a headline in my newspaper basically saying that the criminal was victimized. I thought the headline was wrong. When I started reading the article, there was this group ACLU defending the criminal. Ever since then, I notice they are involved in most of these kind of stories. They are a huge cancer.

btw, the push for same-sex marriage is one step from dismantling the churches in America. The day they get it passed, a homo-couple will march to the nearest church and ask to be married. The church will say "i'm sorry, but we cannot as it is against our religion." "Oh, ok...", at which point they will go to the local court and file a discrimination suit against the church... forcing them to comply or close their doors.

Shutting down the churches is the goal, of course.

I have a question... if we don't have prayer in school due to the separation of church in state, then how does this same group make sense of the state forcing the church to do anything??

another funny point is that these attacks seem only to go after Christian churches... they don't seem to go after muslim or jewish religious centers.

Muslim kids are allowed to have prayer 6 times a day in school... but lord forbid you let the Christians pray ONCE before the school day starts.

Another attack that has bugged me was the push for anti-Christian artwork (virgin Mary covered in excrement). This was called art and defended... but imagine a jewish Menorah covered in excrement (Menorah of manure?)... would they defend it as artwork or brand it as anti-semantic?

This may sound like a non sequitor, but it's not. What if the SCOTUS were to decide that not allowing foreigners to be POTUS were unconstitutional?

I agree: the ACLU needs to be stopped. But letters and marches will do nothing. (Sorry to rain on the parade.)

Even if you were to flood their mail boxes with ten million letters and mobilize hundreds of "million-man marches", what do you think that will accomplish? Do you expect the ACLU activists to simply say, "Gee, we must be wrong. I guess we'll just close our offices and quit."?

Witness the aftermath of the last election: 59 million people voted for President Bush, voted for Republican congressional representatives, and voted to ban homosexual "marriage." Yet, did the Left get the message? Have they finally realized that they are on the wrong side of the issues? No. They arrogantly proclaimed that all those 59 million Americans are simply stupid yokels, and that if only the residents of "fly-over" America were as "enlightened" as the big city intellectuals, then the Democrats would have won.

Yes, it's time to shut down the ACLU. But don't expect them to go willingly just because we ask them to. The only way I see an end to the ACLU is if the Federal Government prosecutes them for aiding and facilitating terrorist and criminal activities (i.e., their associations with Al Qaeda and NAMBLA). Unfortunately, this will not happen anytime in the foreseeable future, particularly with Bush appointing Alberto Gonzales as the new Attorney General.

The ACLU is the most dangerous enemy within our country...They are more concerned with terrorist's rights than your's or mine to simply live......

I'm in. I appreciate the works of FIRE and the ACLJ as well. With Bush in for another 4 (and a coupla Supreme Court nom's), NOW (NOW!) is the time to start a full-court press against the liberal judicial tyranny that has ravaged this country.

Saying that this election was about moral values means, to me, that this election was about stupid, liberal, activist judges (hello, Mass. Supreme Court) that are legislating from the bench. And their partners in crime, the ACLU.
