btw, the push for same-sex marriage is one step from dismantling the churches in America. The day they get it passed, a homo-couple will march to the nearest church and ask to be married. The church will say "i'm sorry, but we cannot as it is against our religion." "Oh, ok...", at which point they will go to the local court and file a discrimination suit against the church... forcing them to comply or close their doors.

Shutting down the churches is the goal, of course.

I have a question... if we don't have prayer in school due to the separation of church in state, then how does this same group make sense of the state forcing the church to do anything??

I don't know if they could do as you've described. This is about civil marriage. Believe me, though, it would cause a very strong push, in the traditional liberal protestant churches, i.e. the episcopals, the presbyterians, the lutherans, and the methodists to allow homo marriage, thus further ensuring their irrelevance and probable disintegration.

Shutting down the churches is the goal, of course.

Actually, destroying America (as we know it) is their ultimate goal.

Think of this like a war, where the strategic goal of the Left is the total conquest and domination of America: to change us from the world's guiding beacon of Liberty and free enterprise, into another socialist third-world wasteland under the global rule of UN Marxist dictators.

In every campaign, there are tactical battles which are necessary to ensure strategic victory. Shutting down the (Christian) churches is one of those battles for the Left. Breaking down traditional families is another (and the Left has already made great strides in this area).

if we don't have prayer in school

But we do! We have prayer rooms in public schools for Islamic students. Menorahs have been ruled to be okay in the NY public schools. No Christian prayer.

The day that comes to pass. "onward Christian soldiers" will have a whole new meaning.

Atheism itself is a conflicted mass of self-contradictions.

These are resources that have quotes by atheism on how bad and self-contradictory the evidence for atheism/evolution/big-bang-cosmology is.
