By now we have all probably seen the Pat Oliphant Cartoon from today featuring the President and Dr. Rice. I think its disgusting, and I told UPS about it. You should too.

But they are the diverse amongst us. They're allowed to do things like that./sarcasm It's like I said the other day on that thread where the troll tarred us as racists. We are the true friends of the minorities.

I don't agree with the sentiment behind the cartoon, but it's not racist or obscene, so put your attention somewhere else. The Democrats portray every successful black person in the administration as some kind of lackey stooge, that is a reflection of their own narrow mindedness. Democrat bigotry against Christians and southerners is a great political advantage for Republicans, probably their bigotry towards successful blacks will also be. There are small minded people who need to tear down anyone successful in this world.

I disagree. She is NOT above criticism solely because she is a black female. I don't personally have anything to criticize her about but her race and gender shouldn't shield her from the scrutiny her new position comes with.

No reason not to take the time to share thoughts with the people spreading this muck. Will likely do nothing, but at least our voices are heard. JMHO.
Well, the birkenstockers are allowed to practice "good bigotry." Think of "affirmative action," or the marginalizing and dehumanizing of minorities who can speak English and think clearly.
It's not only racist; it's pointless.
I know you will not really care what I think about the cartoon. However, the thought that crossed my mind was a picture I saw in 1963 and how it relates today, and I can see Oli standing in front of a picture of that bombed out church and saying “damn, we missed”.
Just my thought of what his work inspired.
Notice I said "register your disgust" in my original post. If you weren't disgusted, or think it's their right, or it'd be a waste of time, then just pass over this thread and don't do anything. The information is not for you. I just thought I'd pass on this info for those who'd put it to use.

Rush mentioned another political cartoon that was very racist. It pictured Condi nursing some fuel rods and saying (paraphrasing) "I don't know nothing about fuel rods" as a parody of the little black girl in Gone with the Wind. I have searched but I can't find it.
Someone get a photo of Oliphant and get to work.
