Post the leftist's racist/sexist comments about Condi Rice
November 17, 2004 | Free Republic

Posted on 11/17/2004 9:39:09 AM PST by Peach

This week I've heard/read more racist, sexist comments about Condi Rice than I've ever heard about a human being before.

Please post those comments/cartoons here so we have a single source.

I will write letters to the editor and call to those organizations who have been involved in these disgraceful activities.

"We'll test that under all those new hate crime laws passed by the left. You write a nasty, hateful rant about Democrats to the editor of a major publication. Make sure to insult both race and gender for the women. Let me know the result."

Just sounds like free speech to me. You need a crime to have been committed along with the hate speech in order for a "hate crime" law to be invoked.

As an example, I refer you to the recent US Supreme Court ruling of WISCONSIN, PETITIONER v. TODD MITCHELL
on writ of certiorari to the supreme court of Wisconsin
[June 11, 1993] at
http://supct.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/92-515.ZO.html. Chief Justice Rehnquist delivered the opinion of the Court.

In this case, an actual crime was committed, spurred on by hate speech. The Wisconsin law held.

Maybe it is because I am just everybody's grandfather type, a non horse faced yankee stuck in the cess pit of Mass fighting the good fight, for God and country, sue me I'd love it, born game, die game.

Just try it. Don't give me a legal precedent, just try doing it, and tell me what response you get.

I can't believe I'm seeing and reading this vile, mean spirited garbage about a truly fine American woman who has worked her arse off for more than half her life, and who now serves ably in our government. It's just more than I can take.

the silver lining: the libs are still in such a "state of hate" that are forgetting to hide their true nature - and it is finallybeing seen for what it is - seen by other democrats who are shocked.

They have dropped their masks in their frothing rants and the ranks of the democrat faithful is getting slimmer with each vitriolic slam against this incredibly accomplished woman.

The question is: When are they going to held accountable for their racism? (Maybe this is just a good way for them to be "outed")

I do think some of the comments about this that I've heard and even some of the posts on FR border on what we despise -- and that is calling any criticism of someone who is black racism. Freepers call the left on it; now they can't fall into that same trap.

Although SOME of what I've seen or heard from the left has been or has bordered on racist, you can have fair criticism of Rice and even caricatures of her features without being racist. Let's face it, her hairdo (which makes her head look even rounder than it is), her teeth, and even her scowl are a cartoonist's dream.

Massive, massive projection. Because Pres. Bush is a faithful family and their hero, the toon, isn't they try to smear the Pres. with the same brush.

Libtards. If they weren't so annoying and vile they'd actually be hilarious.

I have no doubt that part of the reason they're so hysterical is because they see Rice as a threat. For all of their talk about how she's supposed to be an unthinking mirror, I think the democratic leadership understands quite well that she's a serious threat simply because she's very intelligent.

***Oh, really? I'm a writer and editor for a university publications department and I've been leaving the "Dr." off for years now. Haven't been fired yet. That's the university style and I have yet to have the first professor complain. When I talk to a professor I've met I always use "Dr." verbally first, but most quickly ask me to use their first name. ***

Read my post again. I wasn't referring to what might be contained in a university's publication. If you were asked by a reporter for the name of a contact, would you call him Dr. ____, instead of by his proper title? Newspapers and magazines are very particular about getting titles right. It impresses their readers.

My boss was a professor and associate dean. I called him by his first name. But, newspapers refer to professors as professors, and doctors as doctors and an associate dean as an associate dean, etc. But the liberals have deliberately dropped Condi Rice's title.

You say that the people who count know that Condi Rice has a doctorate. But the people who count are the voters, and that's exactly why the liberals don't want the voters to know about Rice's education.

On this morning show IMUS played an audio tape about Condi Rice. It was supposed to be humorous but was offensive to me. It reminded me of the way Katherine Harris was demonized and ridiculed in 2000.

The tape said that Rice needed an 'extreme makeover' to get rid of her 'Al Sharpton hair' and caulking gun to fill in the space between her teeth. That if she was going to be 'the face of America'....she should get a 'makeover'. The word 'niggardly' was used but I can't recall the context.

It was not funny....it was insulting!

Hmmm here's another one : California SB 1234, signed into law last September, states that "hate speech" is any public expression that makes some people feel "unwelcome" or "intimidated." If convicted a person is subject to 6 months in jail and up to a $25,000 fine. Scary. That's nightmare material, there. The point is that such laws are out there. Applicable only to the left, of course.

You appear to be getting off track into the theoretical. Calling Condi "Aunt Tom" is racist, comparing her to a charaqcature of a slave is racist, and calling ehr "brown sugar" is racist. There's no gray area here.

I'm not defending her because I'm a big fan of hers. I've been wary of her politics since she pulled a Powell and said Israel shouldn't finish building the security fence to discourage homocide bombers (early foray into State territory. I'm disgusted because some of the cartoons about her are blatantly, unequivocally racist.

She was pretty cute for a commie. I would have asked her to share a pizza in the North End, but the orgasmic cries of, "Oh Che, Oh Vladimir, and Oh Yosif," in the aftermath would have turned me off.

If you are saying that a paper will first ID somebody as a professor or whatever, you're right. But they will NOT use the DR. title unless the person is a medical doctor. So papers ID Rice as the national security adviser and will ID her as secretary of state, but they still will NOT refer to her as DR. Rice. It violates AP style (I used to be a newspaper and wire service reporter).

Congratulations for starting this thread.

This treatment of Dr. Rice should mark a moment in liberal ignorance and hypocrisy that should be marked in history forever!
