Oh, and not to mention the giant buck teeth. What the heck does big lips and buck teeth have to do with a parrot?
I suspect many of the elitist left are in reality racist.

Disgusting!!!
My theory is this....The Liberal "men" are afraid of Condi....she is a highly intelligent, attractive, powerful and classy woman. And they can't seem to handle it....they are too used to dealing with Chillary who is the exact opposite of Condi.....LOL!

The racist claim is exaggerated big lips and big teeth. No conservative can draw a black that way and get away with it. Besides that it's demeaning in general. There really is something very angry and sick about leftists. They are reprehensible human beings.
IF republicans would play rough, they'd savage the dems as racist against Condi and use that to turn off black voters to the dems, and rightfully so. But that's an IF that won't be happening. So racism is tolerated.

If my daughter was even discovered having this cartoon in her binder, she would be expelled from her junior high school. If a teacher had this cartoon on a bulletin board, she would lose her job and never be able to teach in the
State of Washington. If I even showed this cartoon to a fellow employee in my break room, I would be terminated immediately. It would go on my permanent record and because of the racist nature of it, I would look long and hard for employment. The press enjoys lots of latitude that the ordinary citizen no longer has and the press could give a rat about that.

It's the 'Steppin Fetchit' angle.

how did he disgrace Pat tillman?
FWIW, I dont think its racist. Highly charged-yes Racist- No
I got him mixed up with Ted Rall. It was Ted Rall who drew a denigrating cartoon of Pat Tillman.
To: EveningStar
This is just shameful.
I feel I need a shower just for looking at it.
I notice ibn the corner this little Uncle Sam, the embodiment of America, talking to a duck or something, where they duck ways "Don't look at me, I didn't vote for him" and Uncle Sam saying "neither did I."
I really have to wonder about this, since George W. Bush is the first President to get a majority in over a decade, received the most votes of any candidate in history, and recieved a larger percentage of the vote than any Democrat since LBJ.
Did Oliphant ever depict Uncle Sam denouncing Bill "43 percent" Clinton in the same way?

Just more proof that the real racists are the left wing democrats.
To: EveningStar
Wow--that's appalling.
It says everything we need to know about how the modern left sees black people.

I think you're reading too much into it.

"If this was happening to a black Democrat the leftists / race-card players would be organizing riots." I believe you're right. D.C. and L.A. would be blazing infernos about this time.

...but if you shade that person black and give him/her black hair, everyone thinks it's racist. It's racist if it's done by a Republican, but not racist if it's done by a Democrat.
