Sean is very loyal to the Republican cause. Maybe he could get a job with the RNC? I don't dislike Sean but I just don't listen. Also, I cannot stand Alan Colmes so I do not watch him either.

If you don't listen, how do you know of what you speak? If you don't watch Alan, how can you not stand him? Very curious this...... BTW....welcome to F.R.

The WP must have forgotten about hillary's possible run for the white house in 2008. Conservative talk hosts and others will have plenty to talk about.

Hannity is no idiot but you're proclamation calls into question your own judgment son.

He carried the Swifties full bore and contributed heavily to the defeat of John Kerry.

Now...you may not like him or his persona...that is understandable but he is no idiot.

Like W, Sean is not a nuance guy.

""They'll be smart to turn on themselves and talk about which conservatives are the 'true' conservatives," says Michael Harrison, publisher of Talkers..."

Doesn't it just touch your heart to see liberals so concerned that we conservatives take their advice about the "smart" things to do...

You don't get it then at all about politics.

How do you get people to change and believe the things you say?

You repeat mostly the same message over and over in a way it can be understood, until those listening eventually believe you are talking the gospel regarding conservatism.

Sounds like you need an egg head professor to philosophize details to the last iota to satisfy your taste (which is fine), but you are in the minority of Americans if you wish that.

Clear consistent basic messages are friendly, comfortable and understandable to a mass public and that is why Hannity is so successful. Plus no denying he has oodles of talent.

Amen....doing what he does is not easy.....and he really carried big water for the Swifties when others did not.

Hannity would endorse Satan if he had an "R" next to his name.

And Al Franken would endorse Castro if he had a "D" next to his name... oh, wait a minute, that's right, liberals already endorse Castro!

After the first presidential debate, there were some conservatives who claimed Bush's performance was strong. However, in Scarborough Country, Joe Scarborough said Bush's performance was "disgraceful." I watched the debate, and I also thought Bush did very poorly.

If Bush had listened only to a bunch of yes men around him, he probably would've turned in similarly horrible performances in the second and third debates. But that's not what happened. He obviously improved his preparation because of the criticism that came in from many fellow conservatives. As a result, Bush was much more competitive with Kerry in the final two debates and was able to salvage his re-election.

I'll continue displaying my Scarborough Country bumper sticker on the back of my car proudly.

"Bad analogy, Hannity isn't an idiot, is bright and takes the fight to the other side with courage."

Wrong. Just last night, I realized why I had stopped watching him.

He had on an death penalty opponent. The man stated that many convictions had been found to have "reversible error," implying that this meant actual innocence rather than a technical deficiency such as failure to Mirandize the defendant. A person found swimming in a pool of blood playing kickball with his victim's head could have "reversible error" if there was an invalid warrant but is in no way actually innocent. Ann Coulter did several wonderful pieces on this when the Central Park Wilders were "exonerated."

Rather than bringing this point up and arguing it, Hannity nods and says no one wants innocent people executed (duh) totally buying into a spin that reversal equals innocence. I feel that he is so obsessed with being perceived as nice that he fails to press needed points home.

As Rush repeats over and over, liberalism creates it's own talking points. As long as there are liberals conservative talk show hosts will be in demand.

Bullshite.

Hannity makes no bones about disagreeing with the President on several things....the same things most of us here disagree with W on:

Immigration

Education pork

CFR

etc

Yeah, the only thing I could see Hannity doing to improve his ratings would be to reach over and back-hand Alan Colmes every now and again.

But this is the same dumb claim they've seen proven wrong over & over since the contract with America; and that's precisely why talk radio will only continue to expand, and why socialists will continue to lose elections.

You are correct and I forgot that.

Those that are constantly bashing Hannity here on FR and elsewhere are elitists IMO.

They are all upset because Hannity approaches people were they are in everyday life. He doesn't seem to be pretentious in making believe he is above others.

He seems very charitable as well.
The other day with Oliver North, he was arranging for many vets who are too sick to travel out of hospital to get big deal expensive dinners on Sean's tab. Cool, nice and frankly might get others to be more charitable among his listeners. He leads by example and seems a real good guy.

I don't know why some only like their conservatives to be on thrones, ivory towers or these over educated pinheads.

I deny it. I think the man should be selling shoes. He has no talent, and seldom ever touches the real issues facing this nation. It's a political radio Disney.

I'll agree to stop listening to "talk radio" and television when the MSM and the current Democrat Party are totally destroyed. IMHO, the MSM and the Democrat Party are both traitors and guilty of treason to the United States. Chris Matthews, case in point. After I watched him Monday night badmouthing our military and siding with the enemy, I will not rest until MSNBC fires this Traitor!!!

that was Bill Kurtis and it was obvious Sean liked him and did not want to beat the guy up.

nothing wrong with that....he made his point but Kurtis simply refused to budge.

Kurtis is not the enemy like say Bob Beckel for instance.

Sean tries to get on with some lefties like that kook Garofalo or even McAuliffe.....he has a show and can't alienate the entire left....it's just a reality.

look at Rush.....the King.....he is fixing to marry a lib talking head babe....life is strange.

Ya think she's in love with Rush's good looks and wit...lol...men (we) are such fools

Well, obviously I used to listen and I used to watch or I wouldn't know that I didn't like Alan or that Sean wasn't a much watch radio show for me. By the way, I am not new to FR, this is a new ID because I was being harassed.
