Big plans ahead! Scarborough Country will be coming to a radio station in your hometown in the new year.
Westwood One will be launching a national radio show that will bring you the best of Joe every morning.
Now you can start your day with Joe on the radio and say goodnight to him by the glow of his MSNBC show.
All Joe... All the time.
You know, America really is starting to look more and more like Scarborough Country every day!
They also report:
Joe remains laid up on his back from an old injury sustained in a Turkish prison in the early 1970s (dont ask) but will continue doing his show whenever health permits.
Doctors expect a full recovery by the end of the year.

>>Well, at least he won't be able to have his RFK book prominently displayed over his "right" shoulder.<<
That drives me nuts too. I'm like... 'Joe, you're a conservative, how about the biography of Goldwater or something!!'
you can get a player for $100,and pay just $10 a month. Very manageable, especially with the holiday season coming up.
"Joe remains laid up on his back from an old injury sustained in a Turkish prison in the early 1970s (dont ask)"
Sorry but I gotta ask. I thought I heard him say he was injured playing ball with his kids. So which is it?
Good news... hopefully it won't be TOO early. I wonder how long he'll keep on MSNBC? If you all refer to Front Page Magazine and search Rick Kaplan you'll see how it says if Hillary is running in 08' you'll see MSNBC go the full-court-press towards her and Joe would be forced out.
This from his blog, is a very good example of that type of quirky writing.
Personally, I wish Joe could go to over to Fox, but they may not be that interested because of things like "media politics." (see #1 below)
1.) -A lot of people like him better than O'Reilly, he might erode "the big man's" ratings...
And what would Fox do with Greta van Susteren?? She's been there ages, they wouldn't want to get her mad, where would they stick her show...again pecking order, contracts, and all that.
2.) -I really think MSNBC doesn't want to lose him.
How many of us state his the only show we watch on MSNBC?? THAT's what they bank on, conservatives would basically never tune in to their channel if it wasn't for Joe.
3.) -MSNBC probably pays a very competitive amount to keep him, for that reason, because they know he's their only chance to bring in conservative viewers. Also, Kaplan has been very understanding with Joe doing the show in different places when did his book tour, and about working around his illness. Kaplan for ratings reasons, knows the score, knows he needs him. (see #2)
For Joe himself though, MSNBC is not really in his best interest for reasons many have stated. It causes him to lose viewers, they make him share time with Ron Jr, Imus, a coworker, is unspeakbly rude to him sometimes. Not acceptable. He's like an apple in a sea of oranges.
Of course, it could be argued that makes him more notable than being an apple in a sea of apples (Fox). Fox probably isn't asking him over, I would imagine, they'd basically have to decide first to dump Greta or someone else. Don't think they will.
Ping to Post #23 here, has to do with what you were saying.
Man, what does it say that a radio show is a step up from MSNBC?
So what? He's barely watchable on TV. Will he have crazy Pat Buchanan and queer Reagan on with him?
I think he reinjured his back jumping out of a treehouse or chasing his kids up a treehouse or something? He tries to make it sound more exciting. I actually forgot what he REALLY said happened.
Meant #25, sorry. Trying to do too much FR multasking at once LOL
Post #25 was related to what you were talking about, about MSNBC.
Soundtrack for hell.
