UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear family and friends, This may be the last or at least the
next-to-last update on Benjamin. He is probably spending the weekend out
of the hospital with friends back in 29 Palms, CA--his home base. He has
a doctor's appointment in San Diego on Monday and then either he will
have to stay in CA until Friday to have the stitches out or they will let
him come home to New York during the week and let him get the stitches
out here. By the end of next week it will be just one week until the
baby's due date so I guess that they are finally trying to push. He
sounded very upbeat yesterday and we had a great Thanksgiving even though
he was not here at our table. We will let you know when he has his
ticket in hand. He should be here in NY for at least a month. Thanks
again for all of the support during this time. Love, Shirley

That's a heck of a way to get a ticket home! Hope all is well.
God is going to bring Benjamin home to his wife and new baby.
(Although, the poor new mother will have two people to care for. I also pray that God will send Momma someone to help her out.)

So thankful that all prayers have been answered and Benj will be home to witness the blessed event of the birth of his child.
I'm fairly certain he will be happy, too, to get out of 29 Palms!
