Just checked out your page, Texasflower, and I had to say how much I admire what you've done and plan to continue with in your profession. And I also want to convey my sympathies in the loss of your father. He was a great man up to the end. God bless his soul.
(I'm another big fan of GW and of our troops...God bless them all!)

**The folks who do the WH captions are sometimes very funny. I really loved today's photo and caption. Barney looks like he got caught doing a no-no.**
It is interesting the calendar for Barney photos end at the end of November I suspect they have something new up their sleeves for the arrival of the new puppy. Do you think it will be joint photos or do you think Miss Beasley will then be the daily photo? Or something completely different?

When I was your age I was a bit like that. I think when you are younger you see things more as black and white which makes everything more intense once you get into your late 20s, 30s and 40s IMHO somehow it just lessens.

I think you are right I think I read an article somewhere in which Laura said that he is untidy. I think she was saying it about books that he never puts one away and that they are sometimes piled up on the bedside cabinet.

A few months ago on FOX Lynne Cheney did a tour of the VP Residence which was really interesting especially as she showed how they used some of their own items they had collected over the years to make it their own home not just an official residence. I get the impression she really loves the place and she really wanted to live there for another 4 years. IMHO I think this is her love of history and how she sees one fitting into that and I believe she feels privileged that her and her husband are part of the history of that house and also American Political history as well. I shudder at the thought of how the Edwards would have treated the place.

Though a Murdoch paper the Times does usually tend to be a bit more left wing than the Telegraph. The Daily Express I suppose is more tabloid but not trash it was a broadsheet and its roots were that it was owned by Lord Beaverbrook and historically a very Conservative Newsaper. It has been sold many times and even went a bit socialist but now it seems to have found its base again and even has its old logo back (Crusader) and as a family we have started to read it again.

These two think so much alike, they even pick out the same colored ties --Am beginning to wonder if Blair isn't really from Texas. They both seem to have that Texas swagger walk.

I've always noticed that Blair wears a more continental fit to his clothes and he looks excellent in them.
I prefer the looser American styling, or maybe it's just the guy in it.
But I don't think either Blair or Bush look old or tired; they've both held up beautifully. They look ... maybe 4 years older than they did at the beginning of Bush's first term.

As a young man it was definitely on the "messy side". His tailor ranked him the most classy of all presidents he has worked for.

Wasn't there some kind of social event that the First Lady and the Prime Minister's wife attended as well? Aren't there photos of a dinner or something? That would be nice too. I'm VERY GRATEFUL for the photos of our beloved President and our Fine Prime Minister but there must have been some sort of social event the ladies attended...huh? If you find them...would love to see them. :) Thank you.
