Anybody else sick of seeing the same words being repeated over and over by columnists and "artists" and "intellectuals" in them there blue state centers of larnin' about us GWB voters? Ignorant, uneducated, unenlightened, ignorant, bigoted, racist, ignorant, poor, repressive, ignorant...etc. etc.
And oh yeah, "ignorant."
What are your academic credentials, FReepers? Let's see if the lamestream media will actually take notice of the fact that there is probably more collective intelligence on this board that there is in all of the network news divisions combined. I don't care if you have a college degree or not; that doesn't matter. Give us a "MacGyver" moment, or a common-sense example...something to help prove that not all conservatives are drooling morons who need help breathing.

In addition, I've traveled the world in many roles - Marine, Consultant, tourist and have concluded beyond any doubt that the United States of America is the finest country in the world.
Were it not for the significant amounts of drugs you dims ingested during your irrelevant lives, you would have concluded the same.
? Was this directed at me?
Don't know my IQ but I have a Phd. in pecan pie making and I am smart enough to vote Republican.
I have a Master's degree in Mathematics and substantial work toward a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. I was co-valedictorian of my high school graduating class (my twin sister, Patriot1, was co-valedictorian with me). And I was a straight-A student in college. I consider myself very conservative, and was a strong supporter of President Bush--I spent all of my spare time working for his victory and that of Louisiana's new conservative Republican senator, David Vitter.
Marry me. :o)
Oh No! I forgot to chnage the addressee... Sorry...
Heh, it's ok.
I have a BA in English literature (3.4 undergrad average) from a state univ. in Florida, a BA equivalent in journalsim from a selective state univ. in New Jersey and am one course away from an MA in English lit. from the same NJ college (4.0 average in both). I read Latin and Middle English, speak Spanish, can read Italian, French and Portuguese, am devoted to opera, reading, fine arts and travel. My ancestors were doctors, lawyers, clergymen and teachers. I live in a blue state, subscribe to opera, ballet and symphony but love all kinds of music and books. I picked my freeper name from Thackeray's heroine of Vanity Fair, a gutsy, outspoken and ambitious lady. My husband has a PhD from one of the hardest universities in the nation. Despite that, as a freeper and a Bush voter, I guess I'm just an ignorant yahoo (coined by Jonathan Swift in Gulliver's Travels) idiot. So much for sterotyping. Good question!

B.S. and an M.A. I made it through grad school with a 3.9 GPA and a horrible hangover. I.Q.: 131
Thanks very much for the personal information.
I have cross linked and checked all your bona fides - ID theft matrix being basched even as we ping.
I.Q. 152 high school drop out but a fine felon!
G'night
We have done our geneology for the family and we can track it back to 1632, first ancestor to step foot on American soil. Ever since then, my faimly has been involved in the following: American Revolution, War of 1812, Civil War, Spanish American War, WWI, WWII, Vietnam and Operation Desert Storm.
Sorry we missed Korea, Afghanistan and Iraq and maybe some other skirmishes here and there. But we DID try!
I scored a 150 on the one and only IQ test I ever took, but that was when I was in highschool before I discovered beer, redbud and The Ramones.
Most of my Blue Stater friends can't understand why I like Dubya, since I don't fit the stereo type of your 'average' conservative (in their minds). Apparently, conservatives can't be creative or 'off kilter', listen to 80s new wave or collect toy robots. Most likely, the average DUmmy would probably think I was one of them if they met me.
B.A., J.D. Studied British History and Shakespeare at Balliol College at Oxford (not Mississippi).
There is no point in trying to show elitists that you are not just a dumb ol' hick. Their very essence is tied to their superiority. They have no God but themselves, and no one can be on an equal plane to God.
Besides, I like being 'misunderestimated'. I was born and raised in the South, I have an accent, and no real inclination to try to redefine someone's stereotypes about 'guys like me'. Especially in business, but in politics as well, being underestimated just means that you will be eating their lunch that much sooner.
Impressive. All I have is my I.Q. of 140. Sigh.
