Source: Peterson jury foreman wanted to be taken off panel
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (Court TV) The foreman dismissed from the jury deliberating murder charges against Scott Peterson Wednesday asked to be removed from the panel, a source close to the case told Court TV anchor Kimberly Guilfoyle Newsom.
"This juror wanted off the case," Guilfoyle Newsom reported Thursday.
The panelist, identified as Gregory Jackson, 46, quit the jury after his fellow jurors said they wanted another panelist to lead them, the source told Guilfoyle Newsom.
"He was removed as the foreperson and then decided he wanted off the case," Guilfoyle Newsom said.
Story continues ......
The courthouse was closed Thursday because of the Veteran's Day holiday and jurors remained in sequestration at their hotel. The panel is not permitted to discuss the case except in the jury room........
Oooh, I'll second that too! :-)
I'm willing to bet that the Peterson conviction will NEVER BE overturned. Judge Delucchi, according to Horowitz has not be reversed yet. And frankly, I was going crazy with the wide latitude he gave Geragos all the way through the trial. The Defense has NOT a leg to stand on. Justin F. has NO credibility either.
YUP, RG is the best. You want some California law - boom RG has it posted!! You guys are all great. I'm not going anywhere. We don't all have to lose touch.
I'm not goin' anywhere either. I'll be stuck here in Kalifornia awaiting my next jury summons. :)
LOL - At least I'll know where to find you.
Anyhow, on the deed... I checked the recordings and although there are lots of recordings documented, I don't see any reconveyances from the first, so how the Peterson's can forclose or take possession is unknown to me unless payments aren't made. Check and let me know all those that you can defer of? I cross referenced all names associated...
LOL....Love it!!!
Wow, you sure know how to inflate a guy's ego! I've enjoyed discussing this case with our long time group. I liked the way we all were able to bring in information from different sources and share it here.
Peterson recordings
Hope the Petersons purchased title insurance and I hope that they can show that $100,000. was really transferred to SP. If it was a ruse to tie up the equity, they are in deep chocolate.
How about that? ;~)
oh I seen that... but that is when I think they Scott and Laci refinanced the home for the pool to be built during that year. It was completed .... I am going off memory here.... Laci was missing Dec 2002..... Since then, I haven't seen another recording other than Sharon of Notice and Jackie, Lee, and Scott as power of attorney, deed, trust deed, rent assignments...... dated from Nov 2003, april 2004, and so....
thank you for the update too... ;o)
So what possessed you to go sturgeon fishing on this particular weekend? Can you imagine trying to pull one of those 55+ inchers into a 14 foot aluminum boat.LOL
I agree with you RG. If it can be shown to be a fraudlent conveyance they are in deep chocolate!!
Seems I read somewhere that Laci's house had been rented to someone. Do you know if that is true?
Me too RB, thanks for the thousand or more pings. We could always count on you to bring us the latest...and with a local twist.
Let's hope she doesn't quit just yet. We still have the penalty phase to go!!! (does it sound like I don't want to let go? LOL)
Actually Stugeon is delicious tasting. I was wanting it and wanted to fish for it. It was something I wanted to do for awhile, and chartered Capt fish and hooks. He can be located on www.fishsniffers.com or something like that... It was great. And sturgeon fishing is only good during winter they say....so, no control on the fog... boy was it foggy. It didn't let up til about 12-1pm...I heard this one person on the cb stating that this yaht called flying A's went by with crab cages.... me mind went into the gutter not hearing that right....lol... But it turned out it was the Oakland A's yaht..... going up to Discovery Bay after dugeoness crabs..
yes I too... looks like with the news over the weekend maybe not anymore?
How do you cook sturgeon bear? barbeque? plain grill? oven, what? I can remember when I was a kid my father and some fishing buddies used to go sturgeon fishing once a year. I don't ever remember eating it tho. Of course, I absolute hate fish. UNLESS it is something like I had in Mexico called Durado and I didn't even know it was fish. I love shell fish but regular fish, ewwwww!! I have suffered through a few salmon barbeques but I usually hoist most of it onto David's plate on the sly and fill up on salad and potatoes etc. I take fish capsules for my omega's!!
