Source: Peterson jury foreman wanted to be taken off panel
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (Court TV) The foreman dismissed from the jury deliberating murder charges against Scott Peterson Wednesday asked to be removed from the panel, a source close to the case told Court TV anchor Kimberly Guilfoyle Newsom.
"This juror wanted off the case," Guilfoyle Newsom reported Thursday.
The panelist, identified as Gregory Jackson, 46, quit the jury after his fellow jurors said they wanted another panelist to lead them, the source told Guilfoyle Newsom.
"He was removed as the foreperson and then decided he wanted off the case," Guilfoyle Newsom said.
Story continues ......
The courthouse was closed Thursday because of the Veteran's Day holiday and jurors remained in sequestration at their hotel. The panel is not permitted to discuss the case except in the jury room........
Greta--
Looks sick... She must be feeling it for Grandeos...
His future in spin doesn't look too prosperous... (grim) Like Greta.
Noooooooo---Mark and Lee are on the golf course, looking for the real killer.
Bless your niece hergus. I will keep her on my prayer chain.
That was that disgusting reporter Richard Cole. He's the guy who doesn't even have a "real" job. He's a full fledged Peterson groupie and I find it odd that he has all these legal opinions when the guy isn't a Lawyer. Pixley was rather prickley also, especially with Nancy. I would have loved to mock him.
I HATE Seeing Greta's show supported BUT I do want to hear the verbal diarrhea that this very ODD sister-in-law is spewing. Keep me posted Howlin okay?
Thanks for the info re Primal Defense. I forwarded the link to PD page to my son who suffers mightily from IBS.
It's too late for Justin to cause a mistrial. Who would believe this arse anyway? It just makes me crazy that the networks keep having this idiot spew his very uneducated opinion.
She's not even supposed to say that!! In fact, that is about the worst thing she could say. However, she was removed for misconduct. She should have followed the rules if she wanted to be part of the voting process.
The Asian woman who during voir dire stated that once she made up her mind, NOBODY could change it. Clearly besides her independant research during the case, she wasn't willing to DELIBERATE!!
I'm going to go and watch Dateline but as to Justin, I think he's going to get himself in trouble. For one thing, he was kicked off the jury for misconduct. What a bonehead.
All our best to Jessica, hergus. We'll keep her close to our hearts.

from LK tonight:
Larry: Any question they didn't prove it?
Nancy: No. I said all along when he was fishing where her body turned up, that sealed it. Geragross never put up a single viable witness for his theory. Logically, man is fishing where wife is disposed of. Will he dare to take the stand in penalty?
Pixie: Not a slam dunk as Lockner said months ago. Very early on knew we had a fight. Chuck says first degree for Laci and second for Conner--jury didn't buy prosecution theory--that he began planning in October. Did some creative work in that jury room.
On top of that she had on her show the dimwit Weintraub and Hammer who looked as if he was asleep, his eyes getting smaller and smaller -- he is so boring.
I only watched the show for a short while (I couldn't bare to hear again from Justin and Weintraub), but Greta seemed to be making very defensive in supporting Geragos and someone (Weintraub?) accused Fieger for "not liking Geragos." Imagine that!
I saw that too... She was speaking in a nervous tone voice... cracking ....
on the house borrowing... yes, scott's parents did, once scott signed some power of attorney to mommy and daddy... Sharon Rocha is the administrator of Laci's estate thru probate since Feb court ruling this year in Stanislaus court. No one from the Peterson's side showed up for that hearing. So Sharon was granted it.
I am not sure on Arnold with that...remember he is in Hollywood...and they have very different mindsets those actors/actresses.... ;o)
yes it was... and now the next phase....sentencing Nov 22nd......
