Source: Peterson jury foreman wanted to be taken off panel
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (Court TV) The foreman dismissed from the jury deliberating murder charges against Scott Peterson Wednesday asked to be removed from the panel, a source close to the case told Court TV anchor Kimberly Guilfoyle Newsom.
"This juror wanted off the case," Guilfoyle Newsom reported Thursday.
The panelist, identified as Gregory Jackson, 46, quit the jury after his fellow jurors said they wanted another panelist to lead them, the source told Guilfoyle Newsom.
"He was removed as the foreperson and then decided he wanted off the case," Guilfoyle Newsom said.
Story continues ......
The courthouse was closed Thursday because of the Veteran's Day holiday and jurors remained in sequestration at their hotel. The panel is not permitted to discuss the case except in the jury room........
I've been all over the net crying. JUSTICE...IS ALL I CAN SAY RIGHT NOW. (SHOUTING..SORRY)
LOL....michael jackson.....thank you... many thanks to all the freepers on my ping list... I am sure the ping list would be used for other important stuff pending on the ping list approval people... ;o)
ha! It didn't work.. They must of had a hiccup!!
Isn't that beautiful Meg. I'm at a loss for words right now. (isn't THAT remarkable?)
A very happy day, all things considered.
Wondering where Lee and Geragos are? Lee is outside of Mark's LA office right now, banging on the door, demanding a refund! LOL
Bear...thank you for all of THIS...gathering us all....for the past two years.
You are an Angel...a treasure.
John Gibson on FOX said if Scott is sentenced to death, it could take up to 20 years. Regardless, it is a relief that he will not be out lying and preying upon anyone, except maybe some Big Bubba in the Big House!
Geragos has dropped his gonads...Lee is helping him look for them.
I hope the view I got of Scott from ABC was live:
he looked stunned to me.
Now, I see I have 150 comments to read to catch up.
If they can't afford it, the state....ie taxpayers pay it...
One of my sister's grandson's was sick for years with it. He looked like a walking skeleton at 14-15 years old. He suffered so bad he was down to tube feeding. Finally they sent him home to die. BUT, with a lot of prayer we found a substance called Primal Defense. We order it from the United States. This kid is now in college studying to become an Engineer. We are ALL taking Primal Defense. It makes for a healthy bowel. Look it up Hergus. I don't have the information on it at the office but i can get it for you. I think it's a miracle and lot cheaper than the drug my daughter Marlise takes. I finally bought her Primal Defense also.
I know, "IN my dreams"..
yeah know... Who would hire Geragos on a death penalty case now? Or who would have creedance in his opinions?
Just simply marvelous!
Thank God there was a responsible jury.
ROFL.....
It wasn't ..They said he showed no emotion at all..and was joking around when he entered the courtroom..sounds like he doesn't get it..
Appeals will take time and I don't believe the jury dismissals will cause a reversal as the judge is very wary of that...It is what they will try for on appeal,I know.
ep, this is a HUGE loss for MG.
WOW. I am so relieved.
ROFL!
