"I still separate my food on the plate, and eat one thing at a time"

---I'm not an old kid but I also separate things on my plate and eat one thing at a time. Like you, my family points it out too LOL

As a kid I used to love TV dinners. Before popping it in the oven I always had to remove the foil and rearrange the food. There were always vegetables in the entree and dessert. What's the point of a divided food tray if everything is mixed up???

; )

I am hooked on the Swanson Hungryman fried chicken. I can eat those anytime. The chicken with all that processing is so juicy!

Now that's comfort food!

Great tagline for a great song.

"and I've never been to Boston in the fall."

My kids like singing me the Hairbrush song. Appropriate since I haven't needed a brush in about 10 years.

"Tv Dinners" from the "Eliminator" album
TV dinners, there's nothin' else to eat.
TV dinners, they really can't be beat.
I like 'em frozen but you understand
I throw 'em in and wave 'em and I'm a brand new man, oh yeah.

TV dinners, they're goin' to my head.
TV dinners, my skin is turnin' red.
Twenty year old turkey in a thirty year old tin.
I can't wait until tomorrow and thaw one out again, oh yeah.

TV dinners, I'm feelin' kinda rough.
TV dinners, this one's kinda tough.
I like the enchiladas and the teriaki too,
I even like the chicken if the sauce is not too blue.

And they're mine, all mine, oh yeah
and they sure are fine.
Gotta have 'em,
gimme somethin' now.

The Pirate Song is my husband's favorite song. You know it would have won the Silly Song Countdown in Pa Grape had only gotten away with counting those few extra votes.

"You can't blame the TV dinner for taking the family away from the table," Ms. Fussell points out. "The TV did that. And, actually, it was another form of togetherness - eating tray next to tray in front of the TV."

I prefer to blame Bush.
