I TIVO'd CSI:NY and was watching it when the last few min's were interrupted by CBS news -- was pissed. Not sure I want to sit through to whole episode again to see the last 3 min's

Brings to mind the "Heidi" fiasco in the 70's... the winning touchdown of a football game was cut off so the network could start the film "Heidi" on time.

Good news. We were furious that we missed the end of a mystery we'd watched for 50 minutes just so we could be breathlessly informed that Yassir Arafat was still seriously dead.

BTW, "CSI: NY" stars Gary Sinise, one of the few Hollywood good guys who goes to the Middle East to entertain the troops. May even be a quiet Bush supporter. So it's one CBS show that I think it's okay to watch.
