The show was pretty much over, so you already knew the endings. It was just disappointing to have it cut into.

They could make up for it by announcing the retirement firing of Gunga Dan.

I TIVO'd CSI:NY and was watching it when the last few min's were interrupted by CBS news -- was pissed. Not sure I want to sit through to whole episode again to see the last 3 min's
To: truthandlife
I feel ignorant. What is CSI?

Brings to mind the "Heidi" fiasco in the 70's... the winning touchdown of a football game was cut off so the network could start the film "Heidi" on time.

"If they had interrupted with fireworks and praise he finally found his way to hell, I could understand the interruption." Bump to that!

That's the magic of TIVo - TIVO it again, then just fast-forward to teh final three minutes. Besides, it was the doctor that did the illegal amputations, and the street punk with the wrist band who killed all the people in the restaurant... j/k
(Not true. CBS didn't interupt it here in our area... I won't REALLY spoil the ending)
;0)

We already know. His symptoms are consistent with full-blown AIDS. Arafat was a Marxist/Leninist killer with an appetite for orgies and young men. The Soviets used this knowledge to control their trainee. They ruled out everything else.

Thanks for clarifying. I think my wife watches that. It's a part of her life about which I know very little :)

Good news. We were furious that we missed the end of a mystery we'd watched for 50 minutes just so we could be breathlessly informed that Yassir Arafat was still seriously dead.
BTW, "CSI: NY" stars Gary Sinise, one of the few Hollywood good guys who goes to the Middle East to entertain the troops. May even be a quiet Bush supporter. So it's one CBS show that I think it's okay to watch.
