Dear Father God...I pray for our President George W. Bush this day as he leads this country, in perilous times! Once again, I ask for your guidance, strength, wisdom and power to be poured out to this man. Thankyou for what you're going to do through him for our nation!

In Joshua 6-7, God gave the Israelites a mighty victory at Jericho, but did not allow a victory at Ai at first because of Achan's violation of the ban. In other words, impurity and sin among God's people will nullify the victory we seek.
Heavenly Father, how we adore and worship you, and thank you for your grace and mercy, through the sacrifice of your Son. Lord, I pray that our nation would be a nation that you can always use for your purposes on the side of righteousness. I pray that the evils that exist here could be purged, so that we are even more useful to you. I pray that there would be a "Great Awakening" here, that the immoral popular culture would be burned away, that people will come to their senses and realize abortion and euthanasia are murder, and that there would be deep repentance for the myriad of sins committed each day here. I pray that thousands and thousands will be added to your church here, coming to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and His redemption. Lord, I pray for your Spirit to be poured out on this nation. I pray for our beloved President, that he would always submit himself completely to you, despite the raging hatred, mockery and criticism he endures every day. Lord, be his comfort and his shield. I pray too for our military, engaged in various places against terrorists, particularly in Falluljah. Continue, please blessed Lord, to be with them and to sustain them. May the unbelievers among them continue to come to You. At this time Lord, we also think of your precious land, Israel. Father, destroy the works of those who hate and despise your chosen people. Let not the death of Arafat cause violence or unrest. Protect your people Lord, in the coming days as the leadership of the PA undergoes change. "Vindicate Israel, O God, and plead their case against an ungodly nation, deliver them from the deceitful and unjust man!" Ps. 43:1
