Pro-Choice Republican Senators will bridle at the notion that they will be punished for their views by people from states other than their own. So these PC rants make no sense to me unless you want to damage Republican control of the senate

How big a loss is it to lose a few rhino Republican Senators who will feed us a few crumbs from the conservative table at election time, then spend the next five years stabbing you in the back when it really hurts on vital issues.

At least they have to stand for election.

Another David Souter, or Anthony Kennedy can devastate you for twenty years and doesn't have to answer to anyone in this world.

Besides don't think the other side will welcome these AC DC so called Republican flip flopper's with open arms. They're not going to give them the keys to the kingdom.

They know that they can't trust them either and once they cross over the usefulness is greatly diminished.

The democrats can no longer use their vote for cover and claim that their radical agenda is bipartisan. These people hurt the party in more ways than by just voting with the other side.

We don't have the sixty votes needed to break cloture anyway, but we do have enough to force these rhino's to toe the line or get out.

Then we can deal with them the next election.

But liberal judges to the federal courts are till death do us part and the law that they make is not by One Nation Under God but by One man over God.

All these fine men gave up their positions of great power voluntarily to keep from hurting the Republican Party, the House and Senate. They didn't want to force their colleagues to have to do it. Arlen Specter by not offering to do the same after causing this firestorm has shown what kind of man he is. He has thumbed his nose at the President, the Republican Party, the voters and his fellow Republican Senators. He has put his arrogant thirst for power ahead of all. Do you really think a man like this will care what anyone thinks once he's given the seat of power?
