Why does MSNBC blur the faces of terrorists?

I was probably the only person watching Keith Olberman on MSNBC and his "Countdown" Show tonight- I must ask- why whenever they show pictures of insurgents with AK-47's or RPG's their faces are blurred- like they are in the witness protection program??? Why can't we see the evil faces of these terrorists- why is MSNBC protecting people that seek to murder our troops?

Perhaps for the same reason we normally don't like to have names of street gangs published or too much publicity around gang crime. It emboldens the criminals, who desire the acclaim and notoriety, why help them be famous? Maybe they think it will increase their virgin allotment if they get their mugs on the news.
