It should be, if they want a "minority" Alan Keyes.

Y'all forgive me for not reading the entire thread, but I wanted to add what I'd heard on Fox just a few moments ago, hopefully not redundantly. Ashcroft's resignation is effective at the time his successor is approved. It could be a while.

I think Pete Coors, who barely lost in Colorado senate election would make a good Commerce Secretary.

Hey, that's a good choice I hadn't thought of. :-)

I will leave the choices up to the President and hope that the good ones chosen are willing to jump into the snake pit of Washington, confirmation process, hearings, MSM.etc. and serve our President and our country.

IT WAS A SMEAR!..It was a rumor that grew and just who do you think started it?

Well, if you know that it was a smear, why don't you tell us who started it and why, and what the real story was? What did the Austin American-Statesman think they had, and what did they really have instead? Why didn't they publish their story? What did Rick Perry tell them? Inquiring minds want to know -- especially since we're paying Rick's salary and expense account.

Remember, the antidote to bad information is more and better information. So go ahead and fill us in.

.....we need Jon Kyl to serve as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee

Kyl's ACA ratings are extremely strong -- very much strong macho conservative, good man.......he's the kind of conservative that Orren Hatch and John McCain used to be, a dozen years ago.

You're in the minority of Texans.

Obviously. But I had my reasons, and they had to do with my privacy, which Phil Gramm conspicuously disrespected.

For money.

They spoke of Ashcroft's note being hand-written so there would be no leaks! Ashcroft knows how to defeat the media!

I hate to see him go.

I just heard on Fox that Senator Lincoln Chaffee was going to switch from a Republican to a Demoncat, because he felt that Bush has taken the party to far to the right, is he kidding? Another a$$hole Rino, we should weed them all out of the party right now, I fear when Bush said he has the capital now since election that he is going to veer more to the left, oops, he already is well into doing just that.

Hatch is also owned by the RIAA and MPAA - the Hollywood cartel. Not someone you want as AG.

full blown economic and social conservative, he was one of the people directly responsible for getting W involved in a weekly Bible study in Midland before he ran for governor.

Thanks for the real story behind 'Boobgate'.

I obviously pay NO attention to MSM because I had never seen the photos in question with the breast featured prominently behind his right shoulder.

I think his actions in covering the statue were a tad extreme, but at least I understand why he did so in the first place.

Thanks guys.
