AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - An explosion damaged the entrance of an Islamic school in the southern Dutch town of Eindhoven on Monday, police said, the latest attack on a Muslim institution following the killing of a filmmaker
The muslim terrorist goal is to provoke a violent backlash against all muslims. 'cause the terrorists want the "arab street" to rise up and overthrough their governments, paving the way for the OBL types to take over in the chaos.
Another great thing about Bush was how he avoided this. Have not heard of a single vigilante style death of a Muslim in US.
Have there even been attacks on property as in the Dutch story?
It goes to the very heart of a "civil society".
Codify inequities in the name of tolerance, you create a rift in the purpose of government. Inciting people to murder in the name of a religion needs to be decried by civil society AND by all religious leaders who want their religion to be viable in a civilized society.
The KKK rose up in answer to carpet bagging thuggery in our south after the Civil War. I will not a say it was moral, quite the contrary. However, neither was the situation that caused it's rise.
The question has been brought to the floor. It's time for Islam to speak up & declare where it stands.
If the Eurolosers catch the guy who did this, he'll be treated much worse than the Islamo-fascists.
But I thought it blew up?
If a bunch of youths are going do destroy a Muslim school, why would they use explosives when it arson would be so much easier? Where do they get the explosives? Where did they get the expertise to use them without killing themselves.
Perhaps, they did just try to burn it down. The explosives were already there and were set off by the fire.
The fire was set last July. I posted that because there was brewing tensions...this isn't the first scuffle and won't be the last!
Are we sure it's not a case of Premature Suicibombulation?
Forgive my ignorance...is the Netherlands a member of the Iraq coalition?
"A Dutch decision to withdraw its roughly 1,345 troops (one of the largest contributions to the coalition) could have a serious chilling effect on other European governments' willingness to extend deployments in Iraq," said the departmental analysis, which was forwarded to some offices of congressmen. "The Netherlands is one of our strongest allies in Europe, and their former foreign minister is now the secretary general of NATO."
The tulip growers are pissed......
And HUAC was invented to put down the KKK, IIRC.
Could get interesting. I heard last night that 10% of their population is Muslim.
Sure it was HUAC? I read that HUAC was started in 1939, so I'm missing the connection.
Ummm... A "lab experiment" that was set too early?
Yep! Do a google search and see what you come up with!
Odd little historical tidbit there. The Klan want's to overthrow the Constitution just as much as the Commies.
After finding additional source, you're right, on the surface the KKK was one of the organizations which were supposed to be addressed by HUAC.
I think all extreme organizations want to overthrow the Constitution, so I'm not surprised. There's always this delusion of being part of the strongest group which will be the power to emerge after a society has been returned to natural law.
Strangely, (maybe not to you, but it was for me) a speaker for the John Birch Society got me to look at political thought as a circle rather than just right vs. left, where you find right & left being too close to tell the difference on both ends of the extreme spectrum.
Examples where there has been extreme control would be communism (left) & theocracy (right). When you talk about no control, you find those in favor of natural law (right) and nhilist libertarians or "anarchists" (left).
