Why secede so much? Just give them one big city and it's done. Eject Chicago and it won't matter what the rest of the rat liars do.

I was asking my husband about that last night. He said he thinks it is the poorer areas of those states, they have historically voted Dem, and the school system is probably one of the largest employers in those areas.

i think your husband is correct. i have read some of the earlier posts and compared the notes to the map, and your husband theory makes sense.

I was hoping for more than just comfortable elections for the usual republicans. I was hoping for some real Constitutional liberty. Call it a "Free Nation Project."
Notice that I ceded Washington DC. They have good museums, and it will always be a pleasure to visit (don't forget your passport.)

The higher the bar the more population is inside that county. That's what the height of the bars represents. It doesn't represent the total number of votes.

The blue line in the center of Alabama is mainly due to some very LIBERAL rags there. I am from there, and the newspapers there are pretty outrageous. Also, this line covers the state capital.

thanks for the note.
however, the mississippi river runs north and south and the blue line i am talking about runs east and west and does not appear to make it as far west as the mississippi. did you mean a tributary to the mississippi? others on this thread have mentioned it is because it is a fertile ground, perhaps containing the capital, that was once populated by large farms containing slaves. the hypothesis is that the once slaves are showing their preference for democratic policies.
