Diary Bombshell: Kerry Met with Terrorists
In a bombshell development that could have turned President Bush's victory into a landslide had it come out before the election, John Kerry wrote in his Vietnam war diary that he met "terrorists" in Paris - a revelation that "flabbergasted" his running mate John Edwards.
All during the campaign, Kerry had adamantly refused to release his diary, claiming that he'd given exclusive rights to use the document to his biographer, Douglas Brinkely. But when Brinkley told reporters that wasn't true, Kerry still declined to make the diary public.

No statute of limitations for a Treason charge.
Ashcroft, bring it on!
BTTT!!!!!!
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
I still say the sonofabitch would have been convicted of treason in WW2. We need to destroy his name and memory!!
Outrageous, but not at all surprising.
Kerry used the word "terrorists" not "communists"
back in '70-'71?
I find that hard to believe.
We know he met with the enemy, but
I doubt he used the word "terrorists."
It is outrageous, and I am so glad I donated to the swift vets. Hopefully soon all will come out. I shudder at the thought that he could have been our " leader". Just sickening.
Bump.
It would not surprise me to find that people close to Kerry and the Democrat party have met with Muslums connected to OBL and other Terrorist Org's prior to the election! After all he did the same thing in Paris!
Pleeeeze, the MSM didn't drop the ball. They HID the ball to try to do what they always do: manipulate the election.
No, I don't think that's correct.
Carter pardoned draft dodgers. Kerry was a traitor as Delta clearly states.
Kerry have never made public a pardon, so he's an untried, but still a traitor.
Do you suppose one reason why the MSM were not so eager to investigate the truth of the Swift Vets was because they already knew the truth and didn't want it revealed? I just can't think of where we might have been if we did not have the power of the Internet for this time. I don't think that I'll ever again regularly watch MSM.
I talked to a friend yesterday for the first time in a couple of months, and she said she voted for Kerry. I gave her a run-down of Unfit for Command and she was gasping and saying, "Thank God he didn't get elected! I can't believe I voted for him!" Indeed. Thank God. By the end of the conversation she was thrilled that I had volunteered for BC04!
Is it going to take an alphabet network getting hit with more than a little envelope of powder to get these guys to learn RIGHT from WRONG? I pray not.
Thanks for the ping.
I only wonder why Newsmax didn't link to the Newsweek article they say claims this.
I've read the entire Newsweek article--I though--and didn't see this mentioned.
For Kerry to call the NVM or VC as terroists seems very out of character. I don't even think the term was that common back then. (Outside of Algeria.)
I think I'll wait for somebody besides Newsmax to confirm this.
Of course I know Kerry met with the NVN and VC in Paris. (I probably knew it as early as anybody--apart from the participants and those at Kerry's Senate testimony.)
sentiment understood, but "dodging a bullet" connotes randomness or luck. The American people did the right thing.
BUMPITTY, BUMP, BUMP, BUMP for you, Tonk! (note my tagline..)
Whoops. I take it back. Newsmax did quote Newsweek--I didn't realize it:
"Edwards played along, but his aides were indignant. They warned the veep candidate that the story was already out of control and about to get worse. Historian Douglas Brinkley, author of a wartime biography of Kerry, cautioned that Kerry's diary included mention of a meeting with some North Vietnamese terrorists in Paris."
This is prettry effin outrageous. 1) That "historian" Douglas Brinkley sat on this. and especially 2) that the media sat on this.
The news media is the enemy. They want to turn us into a third world one-party dictatorship.
>>>...development that could have turned President Bush's victory into a landslide had it come out before the election....<<<
Hmmm. I seem to have a different understanding of "landslide." What exactly constitutes a landslide??
