Which Fox News anchors/reporters/pundits/hosts do you think are really, sincerely right-leaning? (VANITY)

We probably all prefer Fox News over CNN, CNBC, the network news shows, etc.

But I was wandering as I was watching the election night coverage and Brit Hume seemed so giddy with excitement when Bush started to pull away - what are the true political leanings of the Fox News staff?

My take:

Bill O'Reilly - Basically a slightly left-leaning Libertarian redeemed by a belief in a vigorous American foreign policy and a sneering content for the MSM

Brit Hume - love the guy....with us 100%, I believe...I LOVED the way he interacted in such an over-the-top way with Susan Estritch on election night basically wiping her face with Kerry's loss....

Fred Barnes - same as Brit, 'red' to the core....but fair and honest in his analysis..

Shep Smith - seems to also take glee in Democratic pain but not so sure....his very patriotic stances make me think he's one of us, though...

Sean Hannity - no issues with Sean....

Morton Kondracke - middle of the road leftie but fair....

Greta Van Susteren - big time left winger if I had to guess...

Juan Williams - leftie....no doubt about it....

What do you all think???

Let me tell you a true story about Ole Miss. When I was in high school all those years ago, I was on the newspaper staff. We went to OM for a state meeting. We were walking around the campus and not one student would talk with us. That is when I decided that school was not for me and I went to MSU. I met a lot of wonderful people from all over the country and the students were a friendly bunch.

While not at Fox News, I would have to say that Paul Harvey is probably the best example of a conservative in the broadcast news business.

Know of any better example?

Juan Williams is so much of a liberal he only drools out of the left side of his mouth!

When Laurie Dhue was with MSNBC, she did a great segment on gun ownership with Tom Gresham (guntalk.com). Tom said that by the end of the location shoot, when she was actually shooting targets, she was really into it.

Lori Duhe does have a pretty face but as anyone seen her standing up? She looks like a woman who has/will have a weight problem. (I am a woman who could stand to lose 20 lbs myself so she has my sympathy BTW.)

My take is that almost all of the Fox staff are right-leaning but that they really do try to be fair and balanced. They give their left leaning panels and guests plenty of room to vent their opinions -- too much in my opinion.

I'm glad Paula Zahn is gone.

I wish Hiraldo and Alan Colmes (sp) were.

I like Tony Snow -- he doesn't seem to be on as much anymore, though -- but I also think Tony trys way too hard to be a moderate, and it ends up pissing me off.

Bill O'Reilly is a smug, self-agrandizing jerk. I can't stand the guy.

I've read that Kiran is a registered Democrat and very, very liberal. Didn't you notice how glum she looked during the election coverage on Wednesday morning, hating the fact that Bush was going to win the election?

She loves Eminem, P. Diddy and MTV. Just another Bush basher.

I think you're wrong about Edie Hill. She's a righty.

E. D. Hill is from Texas and is a moderate democrat at least that's what she calls herself. Truth be told however, a Texas moderate is a conservative outside the south.

I don't think that you know much about Juliet Huddy. She is a Republican, but her lifestyle is anything but conservative. She is currently getting a divorce from her husband David (she has publicly announced this on FNF), and she is notorious for her drinking and partying. If you watch Fox & Friends weekend at all, you will repeatedly hear her talk about her nights out on the town and her drinking. She is a partygirl, and she does not try to hide it. My guess is that she is conservative on things like money and defense, but liberal on social issues.

I thought Victoria Murphy (on the weekend Forbes show) was pretty cool for a while, until she started talking about "having to support Kerry" since "Bush lied about WMD." Never watched her since. Did she ever go back on that?

I have to say that I don't know who Victoria Murphy is! I normally don't watch the business block on Saturday mornings, so I guess that's why I'm not familiar with her.

I get really tired of hearing these talking heads ramble on and on about these WMD's. You can bet that if this were Clinton's or Kerry's war, the WMD issue wouldn't even matter to them. Look at all of the lies that Clinton told, but these swooning women fawned over him like he was the next Messiah. Bunch of losers!

She made sense for a while, and is kind of cute. She kind of looks like Jan Brady, but with redder hair and more freckles. LOL. In searching for the above photo, I was surprised to find out she is only 23 (or was, when the bio I read was written). I would have guessed early 30s. Anyway, I guess I shouldn't just totally write somebody off for a one-time utterance, but I haven't seen her since to know if her derangement was temporary.

Odd, she said just today that "You know I don't drink," to which Julian agreed, and she CONSTANTLY notes that she is in bed by about 10:00 because she has to get up so early---to which they also always seem to confirm this.

And if divorce excluded one from being a conservative, well, I guess I'm screwed.
