Which Fox News anchors/reporters/pundits/hosts do you think are really, sincerely right-leaning? (VANITY)

We probably all prefer Fox News over CNN, CNBC, the network news shows, etc.

But I was wandering as I was watching the election night coverage and Brit Hume seemed so giddy with excitement when Bush started to pull away - what are the true political leanings of the Fox News staff?

My take:

Bill O'Reilly - Basically a slightly left-leaning Libertarian redeemed by a belief in a vigorous American foreign policy and a sneering content for the MSM

Brit Hume - love the guy....with us 100%, I believe...I LOVED the way he interacted in such an over-the-top way with Susan Estritch on election night basically wiping her face with Kerry's loss....

Fred Barnes - same as Brit, 'red' to the core....but fair and honest in his analysis..

Shep Smith - seems to also take glee in Democratic pain but not so sure....his very patriotic stances make me think he's one of us, though...

Sean Hannity - no issues with Sean....

Morton Kondracke - middle of the road leftie but fair....

Greta Van Susteren - big time left winger if I had to guess...

Juan Williams - leftie....no doubt about it....

What do you all think???

I really respect Krauthammer's opinions and love Brit's show and the analytic comments of the panel. We used to watch Dan Rather at 6:30 but we got tired of his canned news show. Brit is just so much more interesting and informative.

When she started drawling with a Texas accent, you had to wonder what Estrogen was drinking. As a matter of fact, this isn't the first time she seemed drunk on air. She was going absolutely nuts during the GOP convention.

Brit is the most trusted.

I think Bush supporters are fortunate that Fox pretty much kept Greta and Horaldo away from the political discussion during this election. Did anyone else notice that? They could have driven us crazy.

I agree and can NOT abide Shep Smith. . . not only do I think he leans left but his voice is grating. Mort Kondracke
is rational about everything but his hot-button: government spending on medical research, he'll never have enough. Greta really fit in better on CNN, but I never watch her on FNC. Juan comes off as not quite smart enough for argue his side with anything more than DNC sound-bytes. O'Reilly is just such a pomposity. . . talks about mostly himself and seems to think we care. I check out his first few minutes and then click him off. I love the three in the morning ED, Brian, and the other; actually like the other the best. I find Neil Cavuto's memos to be inspirational; Linda Vester is quite intelligent besides being very attractive. But Brit is the Boss and the Best!

Brit Hume, Cavuto, Tony Snow, Jim Angle & Brian Wilson. All solid conservatives. (And Sean Hannity, of course.)

Hume and Chris Wallace are the best interviewers. Wallace will hold a liberal's feet to the fire.

Barnes and Kondracke are salt and pepper; a real blend of American right and left. A sane exchange of ideas for a change.

Carl Cameron is a great guy, solid reporter: I enjoyed his screw up.

Charles Krauthammer is the sanest man in America. He's also a psychiatrist. Too bad he has to work for a pittance as a columnist when he could be making a fortune by being Kerry's and Edwards' and Gore's analyst.

Eric Burns of News Watch. Dry wry wit; a guy that could herd cats.

O'Reilly; he's from Long Island.

I heard on another thread a week or so ago that Juliette had gotten a divorce.

Although Chris Wallace is part of the "balanced" side at Fox, I loved his remark at the Dem Convention. After Mama-T gave her supporting speech, mostly for herself, Brit asked Chris for his comments. Chris was down by the stage and said that he thought she was going to break out singing "Don't Cry For Me Argentina". I almost fell out of my chair laughing!
Regarding Brit, wasn't he removed as a White House correspondent, by the White House, for asking the wrong kind of questions? Was it the Clinton White House?

I love Greg Kelly. So please don't tell me if he leans toward the left. Sigh.

Greg Kelly is a fighter pilot in the USMC Reserves, he currently holds the rank of Major. Feel better?

I think Shep's a lefty. My favorites are Brit and occasional guest Krauthammer.

Your hatchet job is something I would expect from the liberal side of life. What you have posted isn't supported by one fact and isn't relevant to the question at hand. Guilt by association is something I would expect from the pinko side of life but not on FR.
I don't watch Greta because I simply don't find anything worthwhile in the program she hosts, not because of her husband, her religion or where she lives.

"Bill O'Reilly wants the populist label so badly, he twists in the wind."

Ha! Change "twists" to "SPINS" and I think you've hit a home-run!!

Oh, I almost forgot David Asman and Linda Vester, both on our side, I believe.

Shep is more "popular" news, rather than heavy-duty news like Brit's show. And while I'm not sure of his political leanings, like you say, he does tell it like it is.

And his best gaffe moment has to be the J-Lo/blowjob slip. I happened to see that one live, and about fell off the couch laughing.

Forgot to mention Fred who's fab, and Krauthammer who might be the most intelligent, well-spoken of them all. I just wish he could permanently replace Juan. Mara is extremely left, but had become much more level toned than when she started and provides the DNC take on everything. What FNC avoids, except for Juan and Estrich, are the screeching, yelling Libs like Juliane Malveaux. The exception is Hannity / Colmes which mildly competes with Crossfire. I, too, mute Colmes but somethimes can't even watch him. Why is he so skinny? Is he ill? People say he's a nice guy but why hasn't he learned anything in all his time with Sean? Are libs uneducatable?

Right before the election, he drank the Kerry Kool-Aid and was saying, "This President failed to secure the explosives, and now those very explosives are killing our soldiers!" Completely irresponsible.

I also like those weekly smackdowns by Brit Hume on Juany. This post election Sunday should prove to be fabulous!

I remember him saying, "I don't know how that happened, but it won't happen again!"

Another Shep moment was running down that woman who was reserving a parking space by standing in it.
