I knew Owens was divorced but had not heard he was involved with another woman. That's too bad. He seemed to have a bright future.
Ping...MUD
My wife and l lived in Virginia for 3 years during his governorship. We liked him very, very much.
As a NYer, I also like Rudy very, very much.
We have a wealth of riches in our party! Good times.
Even after he went to bat fer y'all to get VaTech into the ACC?! SHEEESH...no good deed goes unpunished.
WahooWah...MUD
Allen will have no trouble from Warner.
He sure did. Well, he got the ball rolling. We are currently stuck at paying 25%. The current Dem Gov. put it on hold because of the projected deficit, but we ended up with a big surplus this year afterall.
It's like, all of a sudden in the past few days George Allen has been discovered!
Dittoes...but I do wonder which candidate RINO Jawn Warner would support...MUD
His dad was an ice cream lover.
The Packers broke the Redskins onus.
Well, there you go! George out to pick up Wisconsin. ;-`
No, he didn't. He consistently said during the campaign that he wouldn't vote to repeal it because it was toothless and meaningless.
If you get to know him, you'll realize that's his style. Working to get rid of a law that he thought was meaningless (even harmless) would be a waste of time to him.
Trust me on this.
His contribution in getting the four extra GOP Senators has helped with his national recognition, imho.
FReegards...MUD
I think Allen has some potential.
It took 17 posts before I saw a Condi for higher office post. The internationalists are slacking on this thread </sarcasm>.
George Allen would be a great vice presidential running mate for John McCain 2008!
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it...MUD
Oh puh-leeze....
Maybe as a DemonRAT, but not as a Pubbie...MUD
Allen will wipe the floor with Warner.
