Sorry - Senators don't win elections. Need to nominate a governor. How about Bill Owens of Colorado??
PS - Allen is a good guy.
Did he serve as gov of VA too? (executive experience)
If so, I am in
Yeah, but he went to UVa. Unacceptable to this Hokie. :)
But he was a governor.
I had the pleasure of visiting with his Dad back in the early 80's. He was great! The story of the Allen Family is a true American Story.
I really hope he runs (son), I would support him 110%.
Yes he was Gov. Of Va.
Governors in VA are limited to 1 term.
I like Owens too. Why did Repubs lose control of the CO legislature though? That was a surprise. I wonder if Owens's popularity is down.
wow one term limit. should be two.
I am in pro life, effective exec, high energy.
Go george!
I'm just going to sit back and enjoy 2004 for awhile, but thanks anyway.
Allen/Owens 2008
That was his dad. By the way, that's my Senator and was also my former Governor. He is a good guy.
Allen/Condi 2008
I think as Gov. he repealed the excise tax for vehicle purchases, am I right?
Former Governor, current Senator Allen works for me. Although I'd also be happy with Owens or Pawlenty.
