If you want to discuss 'Vanity Campaigns' that would be your non-campaign. You didn't run, you just talked about running. Heck, your name is even a vanity of something you have never accomplished. Your granduer is all in your head.
I was never in a 'Vanity Campaign'.
I had run for State Senate at the request of my state party and got 3 times more votes than there are republicans in the district. From that sucess the party begged me to run for US Congress. The first year I said no because it was a 4 term incumbent and the mother of the mayor, and then last year I suddenly went blind and everything was out of the question.
My eyesight returned and I was asked by the RNC to please run. I agreed and put my heart and soul into it. I have achieved great success in this election. I am now fielding offers of a prime-time radio show on a REAL RADIO STATION, not an internet station, and have so many requests to speak at functions that I can't commit to all of them.
Also, this 'Vanity Campaign' that you say I have run got so much attention in Washington that they sent me a senator's aid to help me in the last two months.
So, Congressman Nothing, did the GOP of North Carolina beg you to run against a GOP incumbent? Did Washington send you top staff?
The answer would be no. I have yet to hear an apology from you, just petty jealousy because I was able to do what you only dream of and pretend to be.
Congressman Billybob is my pen name. I've written under that name for ten years in a national, weekly column. But then if you'd done your homework, you'd know that.
You might have an offer to do a REAL RADIO SHOW, local I gather. Wow. I did a national radio show weekly for six years. Hadn't mentioned it because that's no big whoop.
I get speaking engagements also. The audiences have included a third of all the state legislators in the nation. I didn't mention that because it's no big whoop.
No, I am not the least bit jealous of you. I do have a measure of sympathy for you. I owe you no apology. I do offer you the advice that you'll have a tough time getting elected if you keep a chip on your shoulder. But I suppose you won't accept that advice.
