>>>The colors on this map should be reversed !!!<<<

Deal with it! It has become accepted convention and I'll adopt red as a fine fine color as long as I know it means we'are winning!

I noted there was some erasure of blue stains in east and west Texas!

Originally, Blue was for the incumbent (Gore, as VP was the incumbent) and Red for the challenger (Bush). After the election map of 2000 was made known, Red became the color for Republicans.

Yep,

As I said to Se7eN, there is a "wetback stain" along the Rio Grande -- and that blemish in the middle is "The People's Republik of Austin".

Any idea what happened to that lone county down in the "Cajun corner"?

Those Texas counties are predominately Mexican-American and are overwhelmingly Dem.

Communism is so 20th century. It's over. So don't sweat the small stuff. :-)

Some democrat geek used this color scheme a few years ago and its been that way ever since. No point in trying to change it.

When the coast of California falls off, it, too, will be a red state.

Need to make a small tweak in the Electoral College system. Give each county 1 Electoral Vote....can you say "Landslide" of epic proportion?

There'd never be another Dem elected.

[of course, if ever they totally defeated vote fraud, the same would be true regardless of "counties"]
