Here are some additional statistics:
Square miles of counties won:
Bush -- 3,280,000
Kerry -- 741,000
Population (2003) of counties won:
Bush -- 150,900,000
Kerry -- 103,600,000
Congrats on a job well done!
...So far. And apparently Alaska doesn't have or doesn't report by counties, so they won't show up.
...Yes, It does. :))
From what I understand, Alaska does not report by county.
With all of the red counties in California, it's pitiful that a few over-populated blue counties are allowed to speak for us.
Thanks for posting this. My favorite color is red.
Thanks for the post!
The southern tip of Texas got dipped in blue paint somehow :\
In the western states, you can see where all the Californians have fled. They're the blue pieces. They fled California but are still voting for ther same self-destructive politics that caused them to pack up and move in the first place. Lord.
In the words of that old fart, Senator Byrd....
prettee, prettee, prettee....
Did San Diego go for Bush?
I've been dreading my trip to California this winter...but it'sin San Diego.
4 states in which every single county voted Bush. Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like not a single state had every single county vote for Kerry
Looks like little blue spots of mold on an otherwise good cheese.
George W. Bush is much more popular than bill clinton ever was, and that kills liberals.. they call us Jesus Freaks because we have morals and values.. they want darkness and gloom. The do not see the cup as half full.
Looks like Massachsetts, Rhode Island, & Hawaii are 100% blue while Oklahoma, Nebraska, Alaska, and Utah are 100% red. I think without the Indian Reservations that we'd have had several more western states as red.
I think New Hampshire was mostly red, wasn't it?
California looks better than last time, so, at least, the trend is in our favor. We did pretty well on the propositions too, except for 71 unfortunately.
