You said: Anybody hear Sean Hannity (his guest is an Ohio radio show conservative) ... The guest said "Well, we know it's over because Elizabeth Edwards has sung!"

I held off on saying that all day. There was an earlier post that gave the opportunity for that jab but I chose not to offend. In hindsight- it is pretty funny.

Disgustingly, they have not called Iowa.

Bush/Cheney: 279
Kerry/Edwards: 252

"Larry King took Jeff Greenfield to task about relying on exit polling data last night. Greenfield was almost crying."

I loved what Rush had to say at the end of his talk about yesterday's *smelly* exit polls and the way that the media jumped on them. Rush said: "The Media givith, and the Media taketh away."

They bit themselves in the bung. Big time. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving crowd.

286-252 wow ... it was indeed close as the polls showed...

State-wise, Bush won, 62-38%. More votes than any candidate in history. A candidate who actually won the majority of votes in this country--something that "landslide" Clinton (they actually used "landslide" in his headlined victories) never did. Almost 4 million more voters for Bush than sKerry.

Yes! I fortunately missed zog sauce's prediction late yesterday that hanoi john would get 311 electoral votes.

Damn, that would have just about done me in. LOL

Iowa is irrelevant to either side at this point.

Courage, AP, courage.

Hold your ground, AP! Now that you've gone out on an early limb [well, I guess it is early compared to the rest of the media clan], you will be battered and second-guessed.

My suggestion: AP, ya better go back and re-check your scriptures--the exit polls. The revelation of those exit polls is all-knowing. And if your exit polls say Kerry, ya better repent and at least become a temporary NM agnostic.

Richardson stalled as long as he could. He couldn't deliver anymore than Edwards could.

what was the "landslide" win amount that Reagan had?

Reagan 54.45 million (59%) 525 EV
Mondale 37.57 million (41%) 13 EV

http://presidentelect.org/e1984.html

The site's 2004 estimate from Monday hit the EV dead on: 286-252.

I guess Richardson had to shove back in those 20,000 straight democrat votes that he pulled out of his butt in the wee hours of the morn.

I thought that was pretty unbelieveable myself. He said something to the effect "I know that we have about 20,000 votes still unaccounted for", and I thought to myself "How do you know that? Manufactured ballots?"

On the whole, Richardson is a disgusting repugnant goon.

Since Ohio went Bush, they weren't going to help much. So he put them back up there until 2008 for Hitlery. He'll be walking funny for 4 years.
