Bush to speak at 3 P.M. EST!!!
Howlin already stole it from me!
he's a 1 issue fellow, immigration. I've debated this type in the past, and they are beyond belief stubborn, and enraged.
I just don't engage them.
LOL!
Didn't mean to trash the Prez.
As far as the past...
and I could be wrong..
I think you were blaming the airlines for 9-11 and thought they should be sued. Whereas I blamed the government for letting the terrorists in here in the first place. (Still my issue because of the borders).
I knew you didn't know me. I never blamed the airlines for 9/11, or the government. The terrorists were to blame.
You're a one-issue voter. I consider one-issue voters dangerous.
Not a one issue voter or I wouldn't have voted for Bush. He basically gets a zero on the immigration thing, which is my MAJOR issue, but I still voted for him.
Good answer on 9-11. However, if you do some more research a few things come up:
1. Someone had to approve each of those hostile men's entry.
2. Someone was responsible for not removing them when there valid time here expired.
3. The one group that didn't do anything wrong on 9-11 - the screeners at security - was nationalized. (Everything that passed through was legit by FAA standards).
The list goes on. And really Clinton and Gore have more responsibility that most people realize.

American I didn't watch Dubya speech I was at work MAN I watching on C-Span 2 right now
Rack this President come think of it we were of this of getting Patsy Stone as First Lady
Shep's a Mississippi boy,
Really? Which town?
Holly Springs in the Delta.
A member of my family is overseas with BBC as the only English speaking channel. He said they showed all of Kerry Edwards speeches - then the first couple minutes of Cheney's and went back to the studio to listen to a stuffed shirt talk about the Democrat Party....showed NO MORE of the rest of the Cheney Bush speeches.
a leopard can't change his spots...
I'd say he should be remembered for having had one honorable moment.
I was trying to be magnanimous. Another way of putting it is he had what alcoholics call a "moment of clarity".
Any way it's sliced, for the first time in, oh, 34 years, he did something that was good for the country.
I hope your overseas relative is in a position to point out to locals that there is a constant media BLACKOUT on President Bush speaking. (This has been so since the first campaign.
Of all speeches after an election the most important is the one by the WINNER! and yet the "unbiased" media will try to hide Bush by any methods necessary.
Shep tried to get in Rudy's face a little bit, but Rudy handled him with ease and said what he wanted to say.
Reminds me a little bit of how Dick Cheney handled the little twerp Edwards. Like a grown, experienced man deals with a little wet-behind-the-ears kid whose motives and methods are totally transparent to him.
I dunno if this is the right place to post this. I'm new. This was too funny to not share.
The plumber came by today. He was complaining about the election results. He voted for Kerry and went on and on about how Bush lied about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction. He said his wife's two cousins were in Iraq and had no idea why they were there and that 1100 men had now died. I mentioned that they were safer there. If here, they were statistically more likely to die in a car crash. His next statement was beyond belief. "Yeah, but if they die in a car wreck, at least they know they died in a car wreck, if they die in Iraq, they have no idea why they died." Is it really safe to let people like this vote??
Don't you think that's piling on -- especially since Joepa's son lost his congressional race?
yes, disgusting that immediately after The president was Nancy Pelosi..
What do you mean? Won't the Dems still have the option of filibustering?
