Statement by Admiral Roy Hoffmann, founder of Swift Vets and POWs for Truth
SwiftVets and POWs for Truth | November 3, 2004 | Admiral Roy Hoffman

Posted on 11/03/2004 10:16:36 AM PST by Nick Danger

We are pleased with the fact that we were able to effectively bring attention to our issues and raise questions regarding Senator Kerry’s character, leadership ability and qualifications as a potential Commander in Chief. As we have stated since we formed, we believed that John Kerry’s actions in Vietnam, coupled with the reprehensible statements he made after he returned were serious and consequently made him unfit for command. The primary purpose of our organization was to provide a voice for the courageous and honorable veterans of Vietnam, more than 280 Swift Boat Vets, Coast Guardsmen and POWs who served their country with honor. Our national grassroots efforts produced donors in every state in the nation as we raised more than $26 million, with more than $7 million in online contributions. In addition, Swift Boat Veterans and former POW's visited dozens of states to take their message directly to the American people. We were the true embodiment of grassroots citizen action, complied fully with federal election law and had every right to participate in the public discussion of John Kerry's qualifications as Commander in Chief.

Absolutely true, and the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth did more to let us know about Sen. Kerry than all of the major media put together. The media should be heartily ashamed of themselves (though I think their collective egos prevent that emotion), and the Swift Boat guys should be very proud, and at least somewhat recompensed.

It is frightening to see that so many Americans still voted for a man who was a proven traitor and a man who disdains the courage of our Soldiers WHILE IN THE THEATER OF WAR! It scares the bejeebers out of me that so many Americans are so far left of moderate now ... and the democrap criminal enterprise did their damnedest to lie and exploit the hate THEY generated for their empowerment, sacrificing/aborting the most vital need of this nation while at war, UNITY IN THE FACE A MURDEROUS ENEMY.

"PAYBACKS ARE HELL, AREN'T THEY LT. KERRY"

I don't think he has been paid back in full. We still need to know about his discharge.

The Vietnam Veterans have achieved a great victory over the evil that was represented by John Kerry. We owe them a deep debt of gratitude for their service to this Country and to the freedom we enjoy today. Election Day 2004 is a day we should all celebrate as a victory over the VVAW.

The educating of American voters to the lies and disgraceful character of John Kerry must not stop just because the slimy traitor lost the election. Time to crush liberalism and its bastard child--lies--and kickstart this Republic back to the founding principles.

I am pleased and grateful that the true story of the heroism of the Swiftees—and the ignominy of John Kerry—was brought to my attention this year.

Thank you Admiral Hoffmann, John O'Neill, Jerome Corsi, and all the Swift Vets and POWs for Truth.

You are so right, my husband, a Viet vet, said a couple months ago, that if they had the money, they should pursue this even if he is elected. Well, he is still in the senate, (in my mind illegaly), so I too will do what I can, to make sure that he is made to account for his treasonous and cowardly actions.

Gosh, the media and Kerry, we still have a lot of work to do FReepers!

I am so proud of these brave warriors who volunteered for yet another fight. We couldn't have done it without them. They have my gratitude for their enduring devotion to their country.

I'm amazed by the amount of grassroots money they raised and am honored to have had the opportunity to help this noble group of men get out their message of truth.

Many thanks, SwiftVets.

Admiral Hoffmann...God Bless you and your team of Swift Vets.

The service you just performed for this nation saved our precious troops working today from having to serve a man who has tried to corrupt and break the American faith with our precious military for a LONG TIME!

I dispise what kerry did after returning from Vietnam and LOVE YOU ALL for bringing it to the attention of so many Americans...kerry and the press (led by walter cronkite) FOOLED us then but NEVER AGAIN.

You have helped all of us by your courage and willingness to come forward and state what our press was UNWILLING to report regarding kerry (with much STILL hidden from us).

God BLESS YOU! You have helped your nation once again and I love you for it...and will respect you forever.

Wonderful choice of words there! I've been calling him Ol' Feckless', but that gives him too much benefit of the doubt. This man planned to run for president in the John Kennedy mold more than two decades ago, except he would do it dishonorably rather than moderately. Sadly, too many American voters were sucked in by his exploitation and lies. This is one man who needs to be exposed for the fraud he is. Will the democrap party disown the fraud? Not even ... he was useful to a power-crazed lurking clinton family and minions.

The llth of the month is Veteran's Day - I wish that there could be a parade to honor the vietnam veterans. With the Swifties in convertibles ----ticker tape and all.

They never got a heros welcome when they originally came home --- I think it is time that AMERICA stands up HONORS our Vietnam Veterans.

Of course, I can't do it but maybe some FReeper knows how.
