When both turnout and the probable decisions of undecided voters are taken into account in Pew's final estimate, Bush holds a slight 51%-48% margin.

Nothing 'slight' about it.
He WON!
Can you imagine if the results were reversed how the MSM would be spinning the Kerry victory as a stunning mandate?
And I participated in that poll! Woo hoo!
The "final estimate" means nothing, absolutely nothing, unless you factor in earlier estimates.
It's now common knowledge that many pollsters cook their numbers to influence the election and then adjust them back to reality at the last minute when everyone is too busy to notice it.
For that reason, it would take a far more detailed analysis of the internals and the earlier numbers before deciding that Pew won the day.
Pew is notoriously liberal, and has notoriously cooked its books in the past.
i read that rass was also right this year. that he went from worst in 2000 to best in 2004.
Yeah. If Kerry had won, they'd call it a 'landslide'!!
Barf.
P.U. on Pew...I said 51%-48%-1% early Saturday morning and stuck with it. The doom and gloomers didn't believe me either. I want Zogby's job. We all trust and respect their opinings so much, don't you know; especially the exit pollers. I think after calling one race correctly I qualify!

Ok!
You got my vote!
Great! That's all I needed to consider myself an expert. It's how they all start, isn't it? Call one election correctly (by luck only) and you're enshrined in the pundits hall of lame duck fame.
