Father, as always, we enter your gates with Praise and Thanksgiving, not because of what You give but because of who You Are. We are so thankful and humbled by Your Grace and Mercy. We ask You now, Father, to let the healing of America begin and may The Holy Spirit flow thru America and bring forth revival and moral clarity so that America may once again be One Nation Under God and May once again be a Blessing to You. Oh how we rejoice before You today. May our Praises be pleasing to You this day. In the Name of JESUS AMEN.

Gasp! That is exactly the prayer I've been praying for weeks now! I didn't know someone else was using those same words in prayer.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for hearing our prayers! Thank you for the mercy we don't deserve, and please help us in the next four years to prove worthy of your grace in this election. In Jesus' name...amen.

I don't think I would go that far. It is very dangerous to think that way..remember Job. It would have been hard if Kerry had won, but our faith is unshakable. Always remember that.

"AMEN! The first thing I said this morning when hubby told me it looked like Bush was still going to be our president was "Praise the Lord!" And then I began thanking Him. I know our prayers turned the tide."

I don't understand. I thought the Lord gave people free will, and that people voted of their own free will. What did the Lord have to do with it, other than giving people the general capacity to make choices?

I've posted this before as a warning to Kerry and can't help but to post it again!

From Proverbs 6:

12 A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.
13 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;
14 Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.
15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Isn't if funny. We pray and weep and agonize and beg God for help, and when He answers our prayers sometimes we are so busy celebrating that we forget to thank the Author of all joy. So let's thank Him for his abundance and ask Him most humbly to continue in His blessing and forgive us for the gross sin that we tolerate here.

Now I can officially say it.

Thank you oh Lord our God for hearing our prayers. Thank you for you continuing grace upon our nation. Your will be done.

As we rejoice here today and do some well-deserved gloating

I've tried to keep my gloating private, but I think John Kerry has provided
a "teachable moment" for Americans of all ages and faith.

As I've gently told some grieving Democratic colleagues, the sad part
of John Kerry is this...
John Kerry probably failed to become President because he failed to utter two words:
"I apologize."

If he'd simply said those words to Vietnam Vets and followed it up
with a clear admission that he'd done wrong (no matter the motive) after he returned
from Vietnam...and done it maybe five years before he started to run for President,
he'd probably be President-elect.

There is a big lesson there about humility versus hubris.

I know our prayers turned the tide.

Absolutely. A few weeks ago we even had our kids add a special part to their bed time prayers asking God to please bless President Bush.

Personally - I've been throwing in a special "thanks" for giving us such a wonderful man to be President.

Amen! PRAISE GOD and thanks be to Him for hearing our prayers. May His will be done in all things.

Let us all remember His tender mercies and seek His guidance in all things.

“God Fought for Us!”

We should not “boast of this, or take that praise from God which is His only.”
“Is it not lawful… to tell how many is killed?”
“Yes, but with this acknowledgement, That God fought for us.”

A much smaller English army had defeated a huge French one. I have not been able to get this quote from Shakespeare’s “Henry the Fifth” out of my head since Thursday, when I realized that Al Qaida and all were not just challenging us, but were in effect challenging God as well. Remember the story of David and Goliath? David won because Goliath and company challenged God, and David had faith that God would help him win- despite appearances. He did.

Our Goliath is Kerry + CBS + NBC + ABC + NYTimes, etc. + Michael Moore+ Bin Laden and Al Qaida + the Guardian + Soros and all …
The amount of power and money and influence and lies and hate that they have put into this is astonishing.

Nevertheless, they will lose
AND THEY DID. May God be glorified.

Thank you to the Lord, seventy times seven!

And thank the American people for getting out to vote. Believers, the gay marriage issue may have just SAVED us all. Rep strategists were right. It was ALL about the turnout.

He opened the eyes of a lot of people and he didn't give us what we deserve as a nation that over the last thirty years has supported abortion, homosexual marriage, and a removal of His name from our society. What did the Lord have to do with it? He didn't step aside and let judgment fall. I believe He opened a lot of eyes. Give glory and credit where it's due.

Thank you for starting this thread.

Thank you Almighty God for laying your loving hands on this Nation. May we never forget your special blessing, as we fight to protect the unborn and continue to live in your word. We love you so much, Lord.
