"AMEN! The first thing I said this morning when hubby told me it looked like Bush was still going to be our president was "Praise the Lord!" And then I began thanking Him. I know our prayers turned the tide."

I don't understand. I thought the Lord gave people free will, and that people voted of their own free will. What did the Lord have to do with it, other than giving people the general capacity to make choices?

He opened the eyes of a lot of people and he didn't give us what we deserve as a nation that over the last thirty years has supported abortion, homosexual marriage, and a removal of His name from our society. What did the Lord have to do with it? He didn't step aside and let judgment fall. I believe He opened a lot of eyes. Give glory and credit where it's due.

I believe God opened the eyes of some of the people who voted. We prayed that the 'occult shield' around one of the candidates would be broken and that people would see that person for what he really is. I believe He did that. Yes, we have free will for sure. I have no argument with that. God works in mysterious ways, though. I don't even pretend to understand it.
