If it is official that Daschle loses his Senate seat, what are the chances Kerry is selected minority leader? I say not a chance.

No. Hillary will be selected for it. Sets her up for '08 presidential run.

It is time for Kerry to disappear back into obscurity.

Daschle did lose. So did Kerry.
If Kerry insists on carrying on with this charade, he's going to have a mighty fun time in the 55-45 republican senate.

Kerry will be smoked in his party. He needs to leave the country with Soros and return to France. He has no credibility with the American people.

My only regret about Daschle losing is that I won't be able to use this much longer:

It is time for Kerry to disappear back into obscurity. So, in other words, he should go back to what he was doing in the Senate for the past two decades...

They don't think he's qualified for that position......just President.

Good point. Kerry has a fairly lucrative, no-show job with excellent benefits already.
And Hillary wants the camera time.
To: rampage8
If would doubt it. Kerry, with this loss, is much of a nobody any more. Hillary and the Clinton machine will effectively take over the DNC.
Hillary will want the Party to move more centrist for her run. [She is smart enough to know, from Bill's experience and example, that leftist liberalism doesn't win National elections.] She will see that Daschle's replacement is a more moderate leader.

No, in politics the taint of a loser is permanent with very few exceptions.

Milquetoast Harry Reid(D-Nev) already has the votes. Looking forward to walking all over Reid as we pack the judiciary with consitutionalist judges. :D

No way, dems shot their entire wad at Kerry and he came up short... they won't back him... most likely start attacking him for being the absolute nimrod that he is, if they haven't already...
