The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat."

To all you super-users of google and the like. I had the following emailed to me because the lurker was unable to post for some reason. Not being a super user, the information at the link was unusual and I am not certain of what was stumbled upon. If anyone has an idea, sound off.

Hi, I am a TM lurker. I just submitted the following to the FBI. Wanted to share it with someone here as well.

when I scrolled down to the bottom there was a lot of Jibberish, but some seemed a bit weird, so I reported it. I originally did a search at MSN for "by2fd.bay2" because I was trying to stop spyware.

I agree - there are tons of men in their 40s and even 50s who can outwork, outrun, and outshoot many in their 20s. Mr LJ practiced martial arts (karate, kung fu mainly) for years, and would be a real asset to the military. And he's no wimp!

A seeing eye dog with a mustache? Thank you for the kind offer. Wondering if you or anyone else tells family members they will be off FR/TM in a minute and hours later they are still sitting at the keyboard????

one internist saved my very life having the ability of 'psychic diagnosis'

It certainly cannot be discounted as valid. They are using dogs to detect cancer now and it is said to be an accurate method of detection.

It looks like spam to me (without clicking on any of it).

Constantly. The other half of LJ used to nag me all the time but now realizes that without FR we'd be in the dark about everything. I just have to give summarized reports.

;-)

Off Topic, but great:

I saw a pickup truck today at Home Depot. Back window contained: on the left, Bush/Cheney '04 Bumper Sticker. On the right: NRA Lifetime Member decal.

Smack dab in the center: a rather plain white bumper sticker. OBL on the right and on the left, this, "Aim them shotguns high, boys, them SOBs is ridin' camels!!!"

Was good for a chuckle for me.

It's nothing: the site name 'DOUBLE click ME' and the content suggest a page sent as html by a spammer. The gibberish is stuff trying to get around Baysian spam filters. You probably got it because despite it having its own domain name it was on an MSN server and got indexed by their bot.

We had another false-alarm like that yesterday with some newbie to FR posting a new thread with the 'Threat Matrix' title. I tried to explain it to the newbie, but he or she had left or been zotted.

Sounds good. My two guys are in the kitchen now attempting a blueberry pie (I'm not supposed to know!) for my birthday Monday. We're celebrating this weekend due to hubby working.

FYI all
Fox News Alert just came over that there is major fighting in Fallujah, I guess. I'm not allowed out of the office to check. ;-)

Cindy, can you share your recipe for that sumptious sounding recipe for spinach and olive lasagna?

I haven't dreamed about it -- yet -- but I must say that I can't get it out of my mind!

Of course, since I publicly identified myself, I guess I'll have to start carrying.

Gee, and what a shame it would be if you had to kill one of those creeps.
