How we doin, FReepers?
Posted on 11/02/2004 10:54:21 PM PST by Pukin Dog
I could not check out for the night without reminding you all once more about the power of optimism. We were up, we were down, but we kept believing.
We won a victory tonight that will shape the world, save lives, and bring freedom to people all over the world who have not yet had the blessing we receive every day.
Rejoice, FReepers. You earned the right tonight.

You've missed scores of others, though. Funny you should show up at this particular one. Oh well. It's your problem. A pride thing, I'm sure.
I'm just happy that PRESIDENT BUSH WAS RE-ELECTED because I can THINK again!

The liberals in New Zealand have conceded that Bush is the
winner. It was fun watching them parroting on how
Bush won the US heartland voters over moral issues. They
basically implied US voters were religious hillbillies - they are fuming. Congratulations on the great result.

For reasons only God knows, I draw too much of your attentionFYI, I've been posting that same statement all day long. In case you didn't notice, it's a busy day and we didn't need this stuff in the forum where it does NOT belong.
And I've posted it to you several times, but for some reason you think you don't believe the forum guidelines apply to you.

I see a lot of FReepers claiming victory.
We're not hearing that yet. We're limited to CNN International and ABC here and neither one has called the election.
It's 10:00 a.m. here and my stomach is in knots.
Is there some news stateside that we haven't heard yet?

I think Howlin means well. She just does not like me. My Pukin charm has no power over her.

You are so right, how did I forget Terry and Dan. We really cannot thank Hillary or Bill, because they did nothing, just like they did nothing for 8 years.

I show up on the ones that pop to the top of the My Comments page.
It's not a pride thing because I USE the guidelines that Jim and the moderators ask us to:

If you think this is MY job, I guess I could think YOUR job was defending PD to anybody who questions him on FR.

I felt sick when I was still at work and turned on the radio early tonight. Zogby was talking about a sweep for Kerry. But then I realized that we hadn't been through so much since 9/11/01 with W to lose it all to Kerry. This will also help heal the wounds of the Viet Nam vets, I hope. They are a huge part of this victory.

My confidence was and is in the Lord. Without Him, optimism doesn't amount to much. Amen! And with the Lord our optimism is WELL FOUNDED.

If things turn out the way it looks this morning, let's all print out this photo and mail a hard copy to Michael Moore, Dan Rather, Mary Mapes and George Soros.

DOES ANYONE HAVE A PART-TIME JOB OPENING FOR ... TOM DASCHLE?????I don't know, but I am Deeply Gladdened. ;)

Same here. I gotta admit it brought me down for a short while, especially on the ride home from work. I was listening to Hannity and he did a lousy job of trying to hide his disappointment on those leaked polls from Drudge. Tomorrow he will take credit for getting everybody out to vote and regailing us with his optimism.

I'll make a deal with you?
If I do something that you think is wrong or that you do not appreciate, then please report me to the moderators. If they concur with your complaint, I will apologize to them, to you, and to anyone else offended.
On a night like tonight, that you have time for this, that I could frustrate you so, says more about you than me.
Cant you just be happy? Just tonight? Why not save your animosity towards me until tomorrow? I'm sure I'll do SOMETHING to anger you. But tonight, Lets party. What do you say, babe? Dance wit me?

One of the most exciting, important nights in American history.
And world history.
And I do, indeed, rejoice.
Toward freedom.
