I could not check out for the night without reminding you all once more about the power of optimism. We were up, we were down, but we kept believing.
We won a victory tonight that will shape the world, save lives, and bring freedom to people all over the world who have not yet had the blessing we receive every day.
Rejoice, FReepers. You earned the right tonight.

And MAJOR kudos and thanks to JimRob and John for how well the site has worked tonight.
The only time I had any problem at all, except for a little slowness, was when FOX called Ohio for Bush. The 112 threads all posted at once seem to have put the site out of commission temporarily but I was too busy shouting to care for a few minutes ... :-)

We're up (pumped). We're still up (awake). We're waiting for Kerry to let us get some sleep... but if he insists, we'll be up all night. Ditto! I may have to call in late tomorrow morning. I'd skip work entirely, but I wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to taunt the DU protestors down at the Federal Building.
