OK, let's all huddle here--where are we with OH, IA, NM, NV?

The Dems won't concede Ohio because of the provisional ballots. They claim there are 150,000 of them. One of their guys mentioned that Ohio uses the punch card ballot. Hanging chads here we go again!

Ohio lead now back up to 121,012 according to CNN http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/states/OH/P/00/

Maybe this trend continues and it will make the provisional ballots moot?

In NV, the numbers out so far are completely without Douglas county which is a heavily GOP area. About half of the 55/45 Clark county are already in. Even if it just came out the same as 2000 with this kind of result left, we would actually win by at least 1% more than in 2000 because we are holding Clark county (which is about 85% of the population) to under a 5% Kerry lead. This means that when we win the rest of the state by 65% or more, we take the statewide total. I'm very optimistic.

So Bush has to win by a decent percentage beyond the provisional ballots.

We are about to see the American public TURN on the radical Dems--they are now seeing 2000 in a different light. Bush has won the popular vote--now they see the Dems are trying to screw up the works.

Only Hillary can bring us together...

NM looks like a shooe-in; so we may have NM, NV and Iowa on top of OH.

I hope so, but now I saw on another thread that there are 250,000 provisional ballots! And they don't even start counting them for 11 days!

Britt just said Bush's lead is growing as the count comes in. Kristol thinks Bush will concede if the popular vote holds and the 125,000 margin stays...Juan is pushing otherwise.

"I think only a small % of Ohio still votes on paper"

I'm glad to hear that! I don't think I can go to sleep tonight until I KNOW that W has won.

Ohio is up to a 150K margin for Bush. Not enough votes left for Kerry. Still several heavy (R) counties out. Maybe Kerry will do the honorable thing and concede this evening.

I no longer know.
The site it no longer being updated (last time I checked), but Fox is VERY comfortable with the lead Bush has. Edwards is supposed to make a statement soon.
