For up to an hour...
Gray Davis did that in 2002
Why is Michael Jordon so tired today?
Answer: Because he voted 40,000 times in Ohio alone!
There is no way all the people in line are DEMS. I do not think we have to ASSUME this is bad news.
Yes 7:30 PM. If in line at 7:30 get to vote.
From Drudge on Ohio just now:
Precincts Reporting: 0.25%
Office Candidate Party Votes % Of Votes
President/Vice President
Bush, George W. Republican 44,529 54.33%
Kerry, John F. Democratic 37,100 45.26%
Yeah but blackwell is a strange one. If he thinks it's something to do with principal, he'll abandon any reasoning.
Is this correct ?
Kerry: 56 percent
Bush: 44 percent
Why?
Wrong.. Bush won SC and that doesn't show that.
Bones
state official this morning said those in line AT 8PM would be allowed to vote, they would put an officer at the end of the line at 8 and no votes behind him
There were a lot of issues and not enough machines, combined with a record turn out- don't freak out, folks!
Yup --in MO -- a dead guy sued to keep the polls open -- but only in STL/KC and other Dem areas in MO.
Its 77 Kerry and 74 Bush on the EV tally..these are simply states called we knew would go where they went. Dont frett.
The darkside is worried too- from the election thread:
2. I think I'm going to puke.
25. me too
Deep breaths and the mantra:
President Kerry... President Kerry... President Kerry... President Kerry...
13. Take a break...
I walk away from the television every time it gets to be too much (I know I've reached this point when I feel like I'm going to start crying). I feel your pain, believe me!
Hang in there...
<
And apparent winner is:
I can see where this should be legal. It takes me up to an hour to get home from work where I live and I only live 17 miles away. Had I not voted early in the morning, I would be hard pressed to make it to the poll on time after work......
Fox showing electorial votes, Bush 102....Kerry 77
They hold them open in Multnomah County, Oregon -- liberal stronghold. Last election it was 1 1/2 hours longer! They make sure the liberal urban area out votes the rural Oregon conservative areas.
If you need 3000 votes Multnomah Co. will get it for you. Sweet deal (for the Dems.)
Look at those tired old hippie liberals.
