The polls in Ohio closed almost SIX hours ago.

There is no chance that Kerry can win now.

or how legal those ballots are

Sarge, you've been off tonight. Way off.

We're not done yet. Lawyers are still circling in the shallows, aren't they?

It's a great thing that the popular vote and the EC vote are going our way, but will you really let your guard down, knowing who's out there?

MSNBC pundits now claims the SwiftVets painted Kerry into a box of flip-flopping and the electorate is a 60's based electorate......methinks all the socialist liberals are so ...yesteryear,....politics is dynamic and they still don't get it. 8,952 posted on 11/02/2004 10:16:13 PM PST by Cvengr

Exactly. Big "duh" factor here if the media just discovered "moral values" were a factor!

MSNBC just discovered "white Christians" in Ohio! LOL!

Screw John Kerry. He was an abysmal candidate.

Boy, you said it. I knew all along Dean had peaked too early, but I thought the DemonRats would give Gephardt the nod.

It boiled down to a hell of a ROPE-A-DOPE by Kerry. He had everone convinced he had given up on Iowa and was focusing on New Hampshire. But he did a stealth campaign in Iowa, no personally showing up but having strong organization.

By winning Iowa, and taking that momentum into his own backyard in New Hampshire, he won the nomination by winning two small states.

However, he was a candidate that did not have a clue how to run a national campaign. He had to rely on the DemonRat machine to turn out the labor an minority vote, unfortunately for him that only amounted to 48%-49% of the popular vote and did not produce an electoral majority.

The bad news is the DemonRats can turn out 45-50 million votes at the drop of a hat, even if their candidate is a wet fish.

Michael Barone reports on Fox News that Thune is up 5,000 -- 51 to 49. Some some Indian Reservations still out, but Daschle may only be able to make up 2900 votes -- not enough! There are also some strong Republican precincts out in Pennington County.

In a word, looks like Thune will pull it off!!
